  • 'Nuff said, John. Cruze is a hit for GM. I'm holding out for the diesel hatchback, though, which is available in other countries. NICE CAR!

  • @JVPRCNG good cause gm silverado has more power better mpg than your wanna be truck

  • @jakkaroo1 Better gas mileage yes... More power.. NOT. Wanna be Truck???? Nissan Will Kick the Crap out of your P.O.S Truck. 1/2, 3/4 or 1 ton. Have a nice day.

  • @jakkaroo1 You mean your Isuzu engine lol... There are talk that the Titan may get a diesel engine The Titan is basically a Dodge Ram Nissan has a contract with Dodge to build the Titan for them the contract has not yet be renewed so Nissan may build their own now that they are teaming up with Mercedes to build engines they make be able to get a Diesel engine for the Titan. But I know a Ford Power stroke diesel would kill that Duramax of yours.

  • @soyntgo4it so you call my gm a chinese knock off when the titan is a dodge rip off lol get a life dude really listen to yourself speak your so fucking stupid

  • @jakkaroo1 Least they are using American brand name numb nutts

  • @jakkaroo1 Sounds like BullShit. Your DuraCracks Diesel puts out : Power / Torque: 300 bhp (220 kW) @ 3100 rpm / 520 lb·ft (705 N·m) @1800 rpm. The Titan V8 is rated at 317 horsepower, (17hp more) and 385 pound-feet of torque and pulls 9800lbs. Chipped it puts out 407 hp and 515 lb-ft of torque. Get your facts straight before you make an even bigger ass of yourself. Oh, Nissan Has a Diesel Planned for 2013. Better let the Fire Departments across America know....The Fire's Comming...

  • @JVPRCNG ppe tuner adds 250hp 350 torque get your shit straight lol you really think a titan will pull as much as my one ton put a fith wheel in your truck and come try lol when you frame snaps in half,if it does hold ill watch as your tranny slips and your brakes suddley combust from how much weight your pulling

  • @jakkaroo1 nice. So you dont even know what your truck has. Here's Your Post

My 36ft Fifth Wheel Car Hauler with my 69 Charger in it has yet to " Snap my Frame " again as You said. Your almost there. Next

  • @JVPRCNG thats just the tune i never mention my 4in mrbp exhaust midpipe downpipe intake and injectors and my water meth kit and your 69 charger and if your pullen a 36ft car haluer thats all aluminum and nothing else try hauling sink bathroom bedroom food o wait my duramax can pull your trailer with your titan on it faster than your charger can reach 60mph,no point in arguing with idiots fucking retards

  • @jakkaroo1 Your only arguing with yourself. I guess that makes you the Fucking Retard. I Stated Facts and Statements that YOU Yourself made. You Did it... You Made yourself Look like A Total Asshole. Congradulations. Tell your mom hi.

  • @jakkaroo1 No its not duhhhh parts are shipped to the plant not made there..I know that GM is not American thus sending jobs over seas and and cutting jobs here and alos paying their workers less money to make your POS GM cars. FORD has started all productions and making their Products in the USA and now Dodge is going to start doing the same in mid Spring 2012. STFU fanboy. BTW you do realize Japanese cars and Korean cars are not made here thanks to them we have jobs.

  • @soyntgo4it lol your jealous and are blind to see GM is a global company that started in america and has most of its parts for the cruze and volt produced in america and your tawaian cars ie toyotas are made here but your paying the japs to have there parts sent from them to be put togther here and your such a dumbass who is hating on a classic American built car i bet you fly a rising sun in front of your house you fucking jap will always rember 12-7-1941 American pride here

When you buy a car in the USA you expect it all to be made here STFU GM is no longer an American car company for the USA next time read up on GM the failing company. Why do you think they don't use the American Revolution in their commercials anymore haha..Duhh not fully American made DUMBASS.. FUCK OFF.. LOSER TROLL SOMEONE ELSE.

  • @soyntgo4it i care more than you unlike your yota which the HQ is in japan GM is in detroit all the money from the cruzes goes to them and suppliers outside the us just like most of everything in America get a life and admit GM has made a kickass product that is made in America your toyota is the same way but all the money goes back to japan to fund the fat cats over there unlike here,go fly your Japanese flag in front of your house ill fly my country's flag where i live

  • @soyntgo4it you must be a democrat and you voted for obama and change well gm is changing the game up theres your change but seems youd rather stick with your convectional method of driving a prius you fucking loser

  • @jakkaroo1 Ya your lucky Obama gave your ass the money to stay a float GM is a failure. ..

  • @jakkaroo1 Neither the the Cruze or the Volt is all produced here buddy get the story straight. VOLT Engine: Austria Transmission: (Electric Drive Unit) Japan. Cruze Engine :Austria or Mexico Transmission: Austria Mexico next time take a look at the parts content when your at your local Chevy dealer numb nutts . BTW all these cars are already outdated anyway give it up once it hits the lots its always outdated at least when it comes to GM products hahahaha

  • @soyntgo4it okay smart guy wheres all your toyota stuff made ummmm thats right say exact place but its profits go back to japan

  • @jakkaroo1 No the headquarters is in the USA

  • @soyntgo4it your just jealous you dont have a chevy cruze dont hate i know its nice and seeing i get around 40 city its okay that i save money and have well everything better than whatever you drive you probaly drive a fucking moped troll

  • @soyntgo4it and it is?

  • @jakkaroo1 Acura TL SH-AWD

  • @soyntgo4it so your comparing a luzury car top the cruzelol go troll on acure videos not on a car that cost 16k

  • @jakkaroo1 Wah wah wah.. Mybe reseaching cars for our kid STFU go away your the troll don't comment on other peoples comments if you don't want to a rash of shit get a life.

  • @soyntgo4it you come here and talking about how the cruze is made in china or whever you said it was made but you drive a car that is from japan lol my car is built in lordstown motor in mexico keeping cost low for the car it is the best bang for the buck car out there 16k 10 standard airbags power windows xm radio it has alot of features a 20k car would have

  • @jakkaroo1 My car is built in OHIO do the research before you go trolling thanks..

  • @soyntgo4it im pretty sure there is a factory in lordstown ohio where they build the cruze you do the research before you troll on a car you clearly know nothing about

  • @jakkaroo1 Cruze built here Australia: Elizabeth, South Australia Brazil: São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo China: Shenyang, Liaoning India: Halol, Gujarat Kazakhstan: Ust-Kamenogorsk Russia: Saint Petersburg Vietnam: Hanoi South Korea: Gunsan, Jeonbuk Thailand: Rayong United States: Lordstown, Ohio Venezuela: Valencia, Carabobo
  • @soyntgo4it are you brain dead you just answered my whole argument us cruze is built in lordstown ohio

no point in arguing with an idiot im done with you retard

  • @jakkaroo1 Umm its just assembled there you stupid fuck your parts come from over seas. Are that stupid..? Wait ya you are. Just drive your POS Cruze its already outdated anyway like every other GM vehicle on the road.

  • @jakkaroo1 Something out beats your POS

  • WHOA! you do really pay expensive to add a letter to your car's name!

  • a great car built with African roads in mind.

  • Braking : If you get the all-disc brake option (Standard in LTZ) -- distance go at around 119 ft.

  • Im looking into this or the 2011 jetta...any advice?

  • @gadgetguy4000 I would take the cruze. Volkswagen dumbed down the Jetta and you would get less for your money. not to mention questionable reliability. The interior quality of the Jetta is a modern version of a Cavalier. I would recommend you look at the HyundaiElantra, Kia Forte, Mazda 3, and Ford Focus. all those cars perform well and will provide youmany years of worry free driving.

  • 3200 lbs is very pudgy for this class

Hurts acceleration, and keeps economy numbers below the competition

It pays you back in quietness and higher rigidity over the compact norm

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC

You're right; Its a trade-off; the reason for the high weight is mainly for two reasons - 1. Sound dampening. Auto writers praised it. 2. The safety features - 10 air bags. It got praise for that.

The turbo engine is designed for fuel efficiency, not performance; we'd like an SS version, but Chevy hasn't developed it just yet...

  • @76carmel New Camry is much larger, has 10 airbags, a bigger engine, and is as quiet, if not more peaceful, and has more features than a Cruze. It's weight? 3190 lbs. Safety doesn't have to make you fat. There are no excuses.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC

I'll agree on your assessment with the Camry. I think they're using something different to make the vehicle lighter; I think Toyota is using a different, lighter steel, and perhaps some carbon fiber as well. You're right; sometimes the material makes it light, but still strong.

  • They should have got the Opel astra from Saturn in sedan form. I drive one and it's definatly better than that cruze as far as the gotta have it factor goes. It seems to me chevy vehicles are trading mpg over the driving experience.

  • Ok I have to say something 1 more time on this GM is so outdated that their Impala hasn't been changed since 2005, Silverado no change since 2007 Malibu no change since 2008. Ok now you tell me who's more up to date here seriously GM is a joke. Only things that went away is the Monte Carlo sad cause it was a nice coupe, and the Cheezie Cobalt is finally gone but now you got this thing that took its place talk about BLAH!!! GM better pick up the pace or I see another Bankruptcy again=FAIL!!!!!!

  • All I have to say is Cavalier=Cobalt=Cruze Since they are built on the same platform. Why other car brands have more power from their engines GM is still doing things old school. This does not beat out a Honda Civic or Ford Focus are you kidding? Torsion beam suspension means its cheaper to make than fully independent. I rather have the fully independent for better handling. Basically Cruze is cheap and Chevy is trying to earn its buyers back work on your other cars too they are all BLAH!!!

  • the 2008-present Chevrolet Cruze is assembled in

Brazil: São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo

    China: Shenyang, Liaoning

    India: Halol, Gujarat

    Kazakhstan: Ust-Kamenogorsk

    Russia: Saint Petersburg

    Vietnam: Hanoi

    South Korea: Gunsan, Jeonbuk

    Thailand: Rayong

    United States: Lordstown, Ohio

  • I love this car!!

  • Looks like it came straight outa Europe

  • @trinidee247 oh!

  • @trinidee247 thats what he said: "non turbo"

  • Why other car makers are getting better advancement Chevy still making their cars the same basic transportation , nothing sporty all all about the Cruze Chevy still hasnt caught up yet. People still want the option to have a sporty version to buy for a compact car like this. Even the RS model isnt sporty just different wheels and a body kit. Come on get real not even a manual transmission except in the ECO version? Feel Chevy is still way behind for the times.

  • What took car companies so long to realize it's more cost effective to have the same model / platform across the globe instead of having different cars for each continent ? Also these are meant to be compact cars, which is already much larger than 10 years ago, people shouldn't expect rear seat room to be like mid size cars.

  • i think this is going to be my next car. ive looked at the civic, corolla, focus, and elantra. i like this one the best. the only thing though is that im trying to get 300,000 miles out of my car. i got 170,000 miles on it. it is in good condition and shows no sign of stopping.

  • I can't believe 0-60 took 9.2 seconds. The 03 Cavalier did it in 7.9.

  • @jwmckin08 The 1.4 is designed for economy not performance.

  • Got to briefly drive this car, and I was impressed. Definitely a car I'd look into if I was in the market for a new car.

  • I was shopping for a car in that class a few months ago. Didn't buy the Cruze, but I was really impressed with its interior room. I'm 6'4" and with the power seat I was able to get more legroom than I needed. That almost never happens. After moving the seat back all the way I actually had to move the seat forward an inch or two to be comfortable.

  • @Jeffredo729 Let me guess you bought a Toyota?

  • @TJC450 No, got a new leftover 2010 Mitsubishi Sportback GTS from a big dealer in SoCal. Had a 2K rebate and was heavily discounted. All things being equal I wouldn't have bought it, but saving $5000 over a similarly optioned Mazda3, Focus or Cruze made it worth it (I keep cars about 8 to 9 years so the depreciation on the 2010 Mitsu isn't an issue).

  • @Jeffredo729 I really don't know how reliable Mitsubishis are.

But thats how we bought our Borrego. It was a left over new of course from 2009 the only year they made them.

Not sure how much my parents got off or anything it must of been a good deal since they bought it lol.

  • @yynotnnh Your right, its a big shame car manufacturers source cars like that. Happens here in Australia with GM aswell.

  • They have not been unable, they have been simply been UNWILLING!!!!!!!!

  • @yynotnnh Your saying Australian, German or Japanese parts are worse than America?

  • I've sat in this car,the seat is so uncomfortable. And it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheaply made! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR AT ALL!

  • What caused a Cruze steering wheel to fall off on highway in the news?

  • @tostoday Shitty GM build quality.

  • @tostoday abot 2,000 Cruze were wrong manufacture and are under recall. NO all Cruze have this problem

  • Squeaky tires!!!!

  • why did i not see a 2.0l eco tech version on this review when it is a option motor

  • I want a hatchback cruze here in the US! GM are you listening?!?

  • @ambee514 it was revealed a couples of week ago.

  • @denisrenelara

I knew there was a Hatchback Cruze, but I did not hear about a US release!

  • @ambee514 i dont know about that, but it will be available on 2012

  • I'm just not convinced by the styling.

  • I think people who cross shop this against a new Hyundai Elantra are more likely to take the Hyundai. The Cruze is still a really nice car though!

  • K757 is right. Might be nice but Chevy has burned in the image of rental car due to its history

  • this may be a pretty good car, but it still screams "rental car" to me

  • Light years ahead of the cavalier, Decades ahead of the Cobalt, Now all we need is a high performance coupe version !
