dance of december souls album rocks. the singer used to be able tro growl, but somnething happened to his vocal chords, so now he has to sing soft, which still sounds really awesome

i just now finished listenin to this album for the first time, and this may quite possibly be the best album i have ever heard

I listen to Bloodbath, so I knew Jonas and Anders were in Katatonia, but I never really checked em out. Heard some Ayreon tracks with Jonas as a guest vocalist, thought he was pretty boss, and decided to check out Katatonia finally.

@Voltroke if you enjoy Jonas vocals you should check out "long distance calling" german post rock band but Jonas guests on a song called "the nearing grave" arguably the greatest song he has done!

@marchthedarklegion I don't think they get better or worse....they just stay KICK ASS, which most bands seem to be incapable of doing which is now true with Opeth after I first heard watershed.

Except of Nephilim and this song, all other compositions on this albums seem to me... boring. It is hard for me to say it, though, cause I have always been great enthusiast of Katatonia's creations
