Pharrell may have co-produced this track, but he definitely didn't do this alone and certainly not this version. It isn't his style and this is sonic a Teddy Riley mixed track. I know his signature sound. Pharrell's stuff doesn't sound like this. It may be his seed idea and concept, but this has Teddy all over it.
@phix01 This is where you guys are wrong about Pharrell. This was his very first song that he produced. You say it's not his style? I guess you didn't know that he also produced rain on me by SWV? He is gifted in what he do and because of that he can switch styles very easily.
@FashionSasha The PROOF!!! I am a producer myself and I have studied Teddy Riley extensively... I know his style! Yes, Pharrell is talented but, an artist can only express his essence and one's essence does not change. If you know the essence of an artist, you can identify the work of an artist.
That girl playing ( or pretending to play) the saxophone managed to look very sexy but stay classy at the same time unlike the new videos where anything a girl does is sexual
This particular song in my opinion does not degrade women. They're at a beach party dancing. Of coarse the girls are wearing bikinis because they're at the beach obviously. Now a days, a lot of rappers just degrade them by calling them female dogs or hoes or what not. I believe they have nice features so for me its not perverted. I compliment the ladies on having nice bodies with the features. 90's always!
@MrAnderson513 ghost produced? pharrell was my client and he'll even tell u this was his 1st produced hit... a bambino straight out of VA... keep dripping the ice cream people... BOMB SONG..
