Under Bush, GM was losing about 8 billion/quarter. Now it's losing only 1.2 billion.
Obama was the architect of one of the most amazing economic recoveries in US History.

Free universal healthcare in the US- we all we that, correct? Doesn't Canada and England have this, yet their health plans are not very sound? Many people come down from Canada to the US to have major procedures done on them because they can't trust their own country. PLUS they get taxes on 60% of their overall income. I don't think you would appreciate that too...

They have a long way to go politically but the oneness, the sense of destiny and purpose that every person has from the cobbler the CEO; it's admirable. Au contraire, they would lose as badly if not worse than we do. Their entire country is already in poverty. How much worse could it be for them? LOTS.
We can stop exporting to them, sure. But it would suck worse for us. There are 1.3 billion potential people to sell to. That's a huge market. Our business could explode there. Really, there's no need to panic about any Chinese "trade imbalances" or "vastly under priced yuan."
