@trackgril175 try to ignore how nostalgic OoT was and you will realize this is the better zelda when you play it, i know kids growing up to SS will say its gonna be better than future zelda games because of nostalgic reasons. but looking passed it, SS is the best Zelda Game imo and lots of reviews say so as well. only gripe is collecting pieces just to unlock the door for the 1st 3 dungeons but it got way better after those.

@SamC77 ... U do understand what the biggoron sword is right. It's a two handed sword. Link has always been a shield and sword guy. Besides it's not like he's using a dagger or some shit. The Master word is a (get this cause I'm gonna blow you fing mind) a l-o-n-g sword. Meaning it has good reach and good power but it's not so damn heavy it takes more than one hand to hold. There's a reason why they say "If you must choose between a weapon and a shield choose the shield."

This game is about imagination and if the creator imagined it as a painting then thats what the game will be, games like Cod, Uncharted, & BF3 are all based on real life situations, so realistic graphics is what they have. and don't forget, Wii is not capable of those kind f graphics not till Wii U which is more powerful than ps3&xbox360.

@MarioKing67 actually it turns out IGN (which was the only source saying this) was wrong about the left handed mode. Other sources directly asked Nintendo whether or not the game will have a lefty mode and Nintendo confirmed (again) that it will not.

there's need to be a balance between graphics and fun gameplay, a good example of a realistic looking game that is alot of fun to play is uncharted, one of the reasons why i can't wait to play the third game, i'm not against realistic games but i personally wanna see more games like this, but for this generation, graphics like this are horrible or ugly, wich is sad because videogames are art and like art, there's plenty of different styles, all you need is an open mind

No, but a member of the Sheikha Tribe for sure! Perhaps, the Sheikha are not even in charge of protecting Princess Zelda yet....since she isnt a princess in this game. But in OOT they are in charge of protecting Zelda. So i figure that Skyward Sword will explain how the Sheikha came to be protectors of the Royal Family, how the Zelda Lullaby came to exist and how the Royal Family and Ocarina of Time came to exist! This is awesome!

Dude, Miyamoto said it himself that Skyward Sword is chronologicaly before OOT. He said that this will explain how the Master Sword came to be. In Skyward Sword, there is no Royal Family, no Princess, no GANONDORF!!! Even Zelda and Link are citizens of Skyloft. This game is before EVERYTHING!! it will be awesome to see how it all began and how the Master Sword was created, the temple of time and so many more! It is directly connected to OOT!

no. As far as i know Majoras Mask story begins 3 months after OOT. But Skyward sword is the first game that we know it is RIGHT BEFORE OOT! Which means that we will see how everything in OOT came to be. the Master Sword, the Royal Family, the Sages, the Sheikha, the whole Link reincarnation, how Ganondorf came to exist....it will explain so many things. It makes the waiting painfull!
