interesting how close the police song Every Breath You Take is to the lyrics of this song... except the people are switched. It's like the songs are talking to each other.

I wonder what became of the other members of the Hassles after they broke up. Does anyone know? Ritchie McKenna was a great guitar player, was he in any other groups? I know the incredible bass player, Howie, is deceased. John Dizek ran for public office somewhere didn't he? John Small worked with Billy later, was he producer of some music videos for him? I think these guys would have really caught on if they'd gone on a full US tour and the public had a chance to see them live. Great band!!!!

They used to play at my high school dances on LI. Billy Joel in his early stages. I was in 9th grade when this came out.
