Can you please post the flipside "Big Willie Broke Jail"--this was the only country song ever written/recorded in 5/4 time! He was getting some radio play in the USA in the late 60s with this one!
I've been looking high and low for the FLIP side of this song. I heard "Big Willie" on the radio just once as a child while in a twilight sleep state. I've never forgotten it. And I never heard it again. Amazing that someone, somewhere in the world even has the record.
Vielen Dank für den Beitrag. Ich habe das Stück auf einem alten Tonband aus den 60ern. Ab heute muss ich die Aufnahme nicht mehr mühsam heraussuchen, um sie zu hören.
Very nice contribution of yours. So, Mr. Gus Backus could do (and did) considerably better than sing those notorious "fun songs" once he had ended his US-career and had moved to Germany.
On my tape of the late sixties this one is followed by Mr Little Richard's "Bama Lama Bama Loo".
duuude! where do you get all this awesome music? :) do you mind sending this also to my mail? :) im stunned... wish i had your music collection!!!! 5/5 would rate more if i could
