Fantastic! Our family has an early 1920s Wurlitzer player which we are in the process of getting repaired (bellows leak)...... this is a masterpiece of music and you have a great piano! Love it!
@proximis123 you are the stupidest idiot ive ever heard of. this is a player piano u dolt. if u notice the sheet is moving.... he has to pedal it for it to move... u idiot.
@proximis123 You know what, I really hate people like you who just assume somethings fake and comment on it without even taking a couple minutes to go on Wikipedia or Google, type in "player piano", and read what the f**k it is. It is really not that hard to do. Now I suppose you rated all my videos bad because of your stupidity and failure to have common sense.
@proximis123 I'm kind of confused why you think he's faking this? Why would someone fake that they have a foot operated player piano? They're very common. Or, you're just stupid.
@proximis123 You're commenting on a technology that's a hundred and ten years old. I don't think they could fake things this convincingly back in the Victorian era.
This looks like my Aeolian Pianola. I put in new strings, hammers, recovered keys, and refinished the cabinet. Then, I ran out of steam. I should get the player mechanism going again, even if I have to buy or build a new stack.
For anybody who is interested, the piano got tuned about 5 months ago already, but I only uploaded 1 video of about 10 that I still haven't uploaded because I still need to edit them. But the wait will be worth it. I can promise you that. XD
The new player pianos of today are electronic and don't need pedal-pusher, and no you don't need to put your hands on a piano to play it, essentially a piano is almost like a music box, to be honest, that's how I've always seen them. I'd love to have one though, like this one he's got here, is just marvelous!
Woah, I was scared at first why you don't use your hands to play... but then I realized that this is a player piano xD ahaha... can you play on this one too? Or is it just for these things? o.o
My Dad got it 14 years ago from a Minister going through a divorce (poor guy), and at that time it was just restored before we got it. Beleive it or not we only got it for $700 with 25 new QRS piano rolls!
i know it's a player piano

@proximis123 What... are you retarded or something? Thats a player piano. It says right in the title of the video what it is...
Before the electric ones came out you had to pump them with your feet. There are a 100 video's on youtube of player piano's.

You can play on this piano too, I'm pretty good myself considering I play completely by ear and I don't know how to read notes.

No, not really. I just dont use it because it doesn't give the expression like the pumps would.
