God how i miss old disney world and old disney rides, the new ones, and “refurbished” ones are just not magical to me. i am so mad, and heartbroken they got rid of the old rides and shows, why couldn't they just build new stuff elsewhere, like in another state!
This show was always a great break from the extreme heat and humidity, and it was always so entertaining and fun (this coming from someone who was about 6 or 7 when your dad taped this). I wish they still made stuff this good nowadays.
That was awesome. I'm sorry I never got to see it live. It's the Carosel of Progress using the 4 food groups. Very educational and entertaining. Wish there was more of it nowadays.
A very great show!:) Is it true that during a malfunction the Bonnie animatronic did some naughty things onstage? If so could someone tell me about it?lol
Beautiful editing on both parts 1 and 2. Coverage from different angles. Fantastic! These videos are the best reason for YouTube. Here we can watch our favorite memories of life (or animatronics) that no longer exist. Thanks for posting these!
There's a CD called "The Music Of Disneyland, Walt Disney World & Epcot Center" which has a couple of songs from this show on it. You might be able to find it on eBay.
I think the Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit has GOT to be the most memorable song in this show. I didn't even remember how the other songs went, but that broccoli stuck out in my mind for a long time.
i actually worked there..and yes kitchen kabaret was way cooler..."veggie fruit fruit veggie veggie fruit fruit!" < much better for kids and adults. this is just Nestle thinking they can bring in celebrity muscle to make a good experience. i disagree, and the failure that insued proved it. i think people actually walked out unhappy. by the way the only true celeb voices are neil sedaka, tone loc, chubby checker, little richard, and believe it or not cher. land pavilion alum signing off!
I remember that as you exited the theater, there was a small kiosk selling plush toys of the Collander Combo. I could just imagine the sound of 6yr old children screaming, "Mommy! Please get me that broccoli!!!!!".
Ah... classic. My only complaint is the absence of the video screens during the "Hamm & Eggz" skit, as they showed hiliarious pictures to go with the songs. (I vividly recalled the full bodycast worn by the poor fox after his encounter with the large chicken.) However, it is a minor quibble at best, and compared to not being able to view the show at all, well... I thank you once again for sharing this gem.
please say thank you very much to your dad ! great memories

Bonnie's cocktail waitress/showgirl outfit kinda confuses me. Is she a waitress or what?

@Jaheartsjonas She is supposed to be a hostess.

It's kind of like a Country Bear, America Sings, combo with fruit instead of animals.

Ironically, that specific slide you talked about was 1 of the few slides not shown in that clip
