Hey Alan it's Andrew.. those weeks we spent filming this fire was the best weeks I had in the US.. Great work editing an nice choice putting it on utube.. 2009 was a bad year for wildland fires here in Australia we were fighting the black Saturday bushfire in Febuary. an over there in August you guys had the station fire I got to experience two large historic wildland fires in one year... Thanks for experience working with you Alan..

The last few moments of the video were pretty eerie... I'm sure you definitely keep an eye on the road out. Incredible footage, you've done some excellent excellent work here. My jaw is on the floor. I was chasing the Morris Fire the very same day this one started, in fact, I had just been through on Angeles Crest Highway in the very area that it started, just a few hours earlier. Incredibly, the Station Fire was a total wimp the first 2 days that it burned... then it just took off.
