Obama made a fundamental mistake by choosing Joe Biden to be his running mate. Joe biden known as a gaffe machine has started to show his true colors. I think you might want to check your numbers pal. It may have been 45 percent right after Barack won the nomination, but now it's closer to 22 percent...And now that he's picked Biden, that number will only go down.
Well that's interesting, because according to Gallup and ABC News, your 45% number is WAY off the mark. Gallup is showing 28% and ABC News is showing 30% are UNDECIDED OR FOR MCCAIN.
Well CNN is reporting 27%. The numbers from different networks are all close...between 27 and 30%. It's still quite a bit less than the 45% you originally quoted. Also, that number will drop by November 4th. It was 16% at the end of June. The only reason it's up right now is because Obama didn't pick Hillary, but those people will get over it, and end up voting for Obama, I promise you. The final tally will probably be closer to 5-10% that actually will get out and vote for McCain.

what is really going to change? Are wall st. fund managers going to stop investing and diversifying your 401k etc. energy stocks, overseas indexes, etc. no he is not. Companies are entitled to lower their costs(overseas manufacturing co.) and reinvest their revenue into their own companies thereby driving their stock price up and institutional investors. That revenue that sponsors R&D which supports other sectors, etc. It is all conected.

Well CNN is reporting 27%. The numbers from different networks are all close...between 27 and 30%. It's still quite a bit less than the 45% you originally quoted. Also, that number will drop by November 4th. It was 16% at the end of June. The only reason it's up right now is because Obama didn't pick Hillary, but those people will get over it, and end up voting for Obama, I promise you. The final tally will probably be closer to 5-10% that actually will get out and vote for McCain.

Ummm no dkrr24, it's called experience. The man leading the ticket (that would be Obama) is the change candidate. Biden is the experience part of the equation. Also, if you know anything about Biden, you know he's not part of the Washington elite, which is the crowd Obama speaks of when he's talking about changing Washington. Also, the only time Biden talked positively about McCain was before the last year when McCain decided to not be a "maverick" anymore and vote with Bush 95% of the time.

Not only that, but this man voted for the Iraq War, and Obama claimed he didn't(although he hasn't been in Congress for long enough to even vote for it haha!) What kind of change is that? You know, change can be just as bad as it can be good.

He voted to authorize the use of force. He didn't vote to use absolute incompetence, insanity, and send our troops to a country that was no threat to us, with lacking equipment, and without any form of international recognition. the war was illegal, on the same basis that Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait was illegal.

To the best of our knowledge(by knowledge I mean M.I. from the U.S., NATO, China, and Russian intelligence) we believed they were a threat. It may not be so apparant now but we went in with good intentions and to my moral beliefs, once that first body bag was filled there was no turning back.

Obama just admitted his incompetence. Joe Biden was not a good choice here.
In the lecture Biden is saying that we have no threat against us. With all due respect, this is denial and political grandstanding for personal gain.
Biden has supported the President at every turn and now the President is wrong. I think not.
Iraq is a safer place, which makes the region a safer place and we are safer for it.
