Does anyone remember the ducktales or similar game where you used a plunger as your weapon. As you progressed deeper into the game you got other color ones that did different things. Been killing myself trying to find it. I think its for NES
This is one of the best games I have played on the NES. Very easy to pick up and play, it's not very long but it does get progressively more difficult without being annoying.
The fact that Scrooge can't swim doesn't really belong to the category "Bad development". It could as well have just been a pit, but water looks better. The point it that they wanted to make it more challening.
From what I've heard, Disney is not letting Capcom add the Disney lineup to the VC or WiiWare, which SUX!!! I love the classic duck tales. Great Review!
really man that really sucks i was really hopeing that disney let capcom release the old disney games from the nes and snes era on the VC that sucks balls what was disney thinking by the way where did you hear that disney wont let capcom releasing the old disney games on the VC
i think that we can ALL agree, that aside from Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers, the ducktales cartoon has the best opening theme song in the history of cartoons :D Second only to Chip and Dales.
The intro is way to long, over 50 seconds, the ending is way to long aswell, and i think there is to much video footage from other games in this vid, but i love the Fzero music at the ending.
I wish I had been able to finish this game as a kid! I remember I was stuck in the castle level all the time and was never able to get past it! I wish I could play it again.
it didnt realy take me long to beat ducktales it took me at least 5 minutes i got it when i was little and i couldnt put it down but after beating it like 20 times you finally get bored im on Darkwing now
Ohh and the funny thing is that the boulder thingi comes from Uncle Scrooge comics they picked it up from there so Indiana Jones movies have a little bit of "Duck Tales" in them(not the other way around) XD
I think your controls part of the video always is a little bit of.. unecessary. I mean, if someone hasn't got the game it won't matter if they hear you talk about how to control the game. and if they HAVE the game it's not hard to figure out that you walk with the arrows and jump with the a button or whatever.
...Lol good review as always but..this is me listening the whole time..DUCK TALES! WOOHOO! lalalalalaalalalala...DUCK TALES! WOOHOO!..lalalalalalalalalala..DUCK TALES! WOOHOO!...and on and on..its kinda catchy but gets old but
Beagle BROTHERS??? They are called the Beagle Boys.
Also, Bad development??? Just because Scrooge can't swim in mysterious water in a fuckin' mysterious mine doesn't mean "bad development" it just means the game is challenging you a little more. Would you have preferred the green monster to just jump up from a botomless pit? The game is fine!
Actually, this is arguably my favorite game of ALL TIME!!! I'm getting a tattoo of Scrooge pogo-jumping on the lunar rat. 10 out of 10 in my book!
I agree! I would buy it in a heart beat, I used to play this game a lot back in 1990, one of the best Nes games, I would rank top 10!! Hopefully they'll release for the VC.
This game was great. I rented it back in the day and recently bought it & the sequel on NES (since I had the 2 Game Boy games for years). Capcom was the sh*t before they went fighting game crazy. I loved their beat em ups like Final Fight (and the tons of Final Fight style coin-op games they made), but the fighting games got boring for me. I hated how they screwed up Slammasters 2 on the arcade.
I don't mean to critisize or sound rude by any means. The actual review of this video was good. It's just that when I looked at the length, I thought cool it would be a 5 minute review. However it seemed like the actual review was 2 minutes, and the rest was 3 minutes of intros and random game clips near the end. Again, I dont mean to sound rude, it's just that I thought the actual review would be longer than it was.
Your not rude.....the game was very short and I did the best i could. At the end of the review i showcase games that are in the midst of being reviewed...think of em like trailers.
freaking love that game still in 2011!
