i hate the pittsburgh home announcers. they are so damn plain. no emotion in their voice at all. when the flyers play in pittsburgh i have to mute my t.v. so i can watch the damn game.

I totally agree with Jwhitmor. I HATE the national broadcasters. Don't get me wrong, "Doc" Emrick used to be the Flyers play-by-play guy, but he'll never have the enthusiasm now that Jim Jackson would. I wish the NHL would allow a simulcast of national coverage for people out of the area and local coverage so that we can feel the love our crew here in TV here in Philly. I love Timmy Saunders & Proppy, but nothing will replace a live broadcast from out hometown TV broadcast team!
