I loved this minigame the best! it was one of the easiest. I loved being able to dance with chime!

@Nichiwa14 Given the way the tune sounds and the actions shown on screen, it reminds me of an Irish jig. But outside of what the game calls it "Clavat Step", I can't give you a definite answer.

the dance animations look like they were just lazy put together when they made them... the tango could have been animated so much better than it was, especially since they did it for the Veo Lu Sluice song =/

The last two are from the original Crystal Chronicles, but Veo Lu is very obvious.

Square sucks at making dancing minigames.

It's a shame, this could have been so much more awesome than it was. The song choices were great, the selection of dance partners was great (sans the Ancient Old Lilty woman you got stuck with if you timed out); but the timing and beat-Wiimote shake coordination are AWFUL.

Here's hoping they improve upon it in the eventual Crystal Bearers sequel.

@EscalarioChan Agreed. Both the Lilty Waltz and (to an even greater extent) the Clavat Step don't have any real rhythm or true timing with the inputs. The Selkie Tango was done very well. Me thinks the creators are a little biased, no?
