Well, the tutorials I used were very good, from a website called digitaltutors(DOT)com. They go through and explain everything step by step. They don't skip anything. I just followed through with them step by step, and if I didn't get it, I went through it again.

Just be patient, and don't give up.

Digital Tutors is actually used in schools. The quality is that high. You can't find any better tutorials than on DT.

I just wish they weren't so high, 50 dollars per dvd is pretty steep. I wish they sold them for 20 dollars each. I try to buy the bundles so I can save some money.

Thanks, Lots and lots of free time is how I get it done, LOL.

But, yeah, this took about 4 months to finish, episode 1 took me a little bit longer.

I use a program called Maya, it took me about 2 years of studying it to get to the point where I could do this with it. I hope to one day be so good at it that someone will think there are watching a professional animated movie, like the ones made by pixar, and deamworks.

If I live to be 100, I just might get to that point, LOL.

No, I tried that, and I couldn't get them to work. I had to turn them into cloth, and just turn the settings up high enough to were the acted like metal instead of cloth.

Well, I want to, but the program I use to record the screen while I'm working is just a pain to work with. I will record the lesson, and then it will just freeze up.

No, you have to make all the pieces even the cuffs themselves cloth, and make your Character a collision object.

turn up the rigidity, and you'll just have to mess around with the settings until you get it right. I had to mess around with it for a few hours to get it right for the scene.

But it all depends on your model size, and your animation.

Try adjusting the space scale. try higher, or lower, if one way helps, go that way a little bit more.
