Alright, why would you EVER wait to increase stats until later when you can get all the bonuses they give now, when you have more use for them?

You barely even need the items to begin with. The game isn't really that hard. I think it's pretty sensible to save them for the final chapters, where the enemies are the hardest and just in case a main-use character gets insufficient upgrades for specific stat. And if not for that, you could still sell them and use the extra gold for some weapons or something.

In the end, it's the way I choose to play this game, and regardless, I still completed this project pretty easily.

Well....to be blatantly honest....

She sucks. You get Brom and Gatrie for a much longer part of the game. Even Tauroneo is a better investment because he is actually pretty good in Part 3. Meg should only be used in an experimental playthrough (a playthrough where you use a lot of the better characters and substitute just one for Meg, and even then she might not be good enough to take to Endgame.

actually, meg's an alright unit, but not as a tanking unit (unlike other general) due to her utterly bizarre stats

if you could get class changes like in fe11i'd make her a pegasus knight
