Glad you think so. There were many types of music I did not like when I was your age, but as time has gone by my tastes have widened. Give everything a fair try, you never know what you will find to your liking.

Shawn, I am flattered that you should say so, but whilst I would love to be able to play my instrument even better, I consider myself to be a singer rather than a guitarist. As to the guitar, I fell lucky when I bought it second hand from a girlfriend's relative. It did not sound so good then, the action being too high, but my nephew adjusted it and varnished it up and it has lain dormant for years. (more to follow)

Then a few months ago, I took it into the local music store where they repaired a couple of damaged machine heads and restrung it for me. It has sounded sweet ever since and with the lower action it is a pleasure to play.
