Pennsic itself costs $155 this year (Preregistered) to hand out with 14,000 other people who do the same thing. Armor can range from $300 to $1000 depending one what you want. Add in Medieval clothing if you cant make it yourself and you're looking at another couple hundred. (Hint: you can also find plans to make your own armor on line).
