I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH before i bought a drum set.. i started out with a Pearl Forum series and a set of ZBT's and they sounded great but cracked so i upgraded to Z customs and it was really exspensive but they never broke and they were really loud and heavy and i like that.. still have the pearl.. if you tune well it can sound like a Master series or atleaste damn close =D
