  • thks really helped me:D

  • omg i think im not doing it good it hurts

  • could you theoretically use dental floss?

  • Hi, i tryed to do it but the thread keeps hurt my fingers.. is it normal or what ? how can i avoid this from happen ?

  • i wonder how the first person who did this ever thought of it. ever wonder that about stuff? like who thought of putting all the ingredients into say cookie mix? or who plucked each herb for the first time ever then figured out what it did and how to cook it and put it in pill or powder form.. etc.. just cool lol

  • I`m a 10 year old girl and have never had my eyebrows done. I haven`t any idea how to pluck with tweezers and guess what ive just done! I just plucked the hairs underneath my eyebrows and am very proud!

  • OMG I can do my eyebrows YAAAAY

  • out of all the ways to remove hair this is the least painful

  • in my opinion, threading is more painful than plucking AND waxing! it literally feels like somebodys slicing your face with a scalpel then pressing a hot poker on it lol...NO JOKE! and I have a veeery high pain tolerance!! .. but with that said-NO YOU DONT GET USED TO IT and YES under an experienced hand it does look immaculate and clean :)

  • I have seen a few of the tutorials and your is the easiest to understand thank you so much now i dont have to spend so much money to get them threaded

    thank you again

  • Thanks - very easy to follow & like the close up.

  • You were the only one who was about to helpe me learn.

  • just a littlel bit question: I'm trying to do threading (obiouvsly I need a lot of practice), but I'm not able to adhere the thread to mi skin. how is it possible? I can not find a right position for my hands. Sorry for my english, I'm writing from Italy! Hoping for your help, I wish you good day.

    Fabiana,

  • love this video!!! thanks!!

  • i have heard that plucking promotes hair growth and waxing demotes it - where does threading lie?

  • I love getting my eyebrows threaded and THANK YOU for posting how I can do it myself. The prices in my area are getting so ridiculous!

  • thanks for putting a close up that makes it seem so much easier

  • only just started to do this and its so easy. much better and neater results than plucking and doesn't take very long for it to stop hurting. good video thanks :) x

  • this is amazing.it seems so complicated.but ive just done it,and yes with practice you get better...thank you so much honey, youve saved me an absolute fortune xxx

    Aziel

  • it was easy for me to do i follow what she say and did it it hurts but after doing it a well it stops hurting

  • you are very clever, your actions is very clear , thanks!!!!

  • Your actions were very clear, thank you, I usually hot wax my brows, I find that hot wax grabs the little hairs a lot better then strip wax, but thteading is much quicker and saves a lot of messing about. I love it :)

  • does it matter how long your eye brow hairs are?

  • hi i realised that you dont have any facial hair, r u just naturally hair free because im asian my self but cant find an effective way of removing them. is it true thats haldi (tumeric) works really well in fading the colour of the unwanted hair?

  • how to thread your eyebrows

  • So, which is better threading or waxing?

  • genial merci

  • I just started doing this with your help.

I am a "fuzzy" person with very fine hair that plucking and waxing does NOTHING for. I would have new growth by the time I completed all I needed to do.

THIS WAS AMAZING! I have "fuzzy" spots on my cheek area and boy did the fur fly! I removed the hair easily and quickly after minimal time to master the method.

It stung at first then nothing... ! Thank you so much for the tutorial :)

    S

  • you are sooo pretty!! and your voice is gorgeous!

  • I tried it and it is amazing!

  • hi, i want to thread my moustache(dear me) and i think threading is the best option for me. however i just cant get my head around what ur hands shud do, If u cud put up a video that relli puts it into simple words on threading ur upper lip wud help. my hand-eye coordination is pathetic so plz help me out. moustache on a gal aint attractive. All the best.

  • awesome! :)

  • when i do it the thread snaps :'(

  • I get my eyebrows threaded, just had it done on Monday. I love it. I have to admit, it does hurt sometimes, particularly when she pulls several hairs at once. But, I love the way my eyebrows look afterwards. Don't think I could do it myself but I love your tutorial.

  • hi dear, i'll try it? which thread? wether a particular thread is needed?

  • @crazynimmi Just a normal thread :D Do it (: I did it and it works amazing :D

  • i've tried doing dat !

It's really nice and simple :)

  • oh my gosh that looks so scary

  • the simple way to tread your eyebrows. LOVE IT...

  • Thank You So Much For Helpinq Me Out ! :]

  • a friend of mine introduced me to threading and I SO don't miss the waxing it

love, love, love the threading, thanks for showing it.

  • Hey girls, I m european but currently leaving in the Middle East, in the Gulf. What Jasmine shows here is not an invention, its a very practical way of hair-removing, everyone is doing this in the saloons.

Btw there was a question down, is it normal to hurt, absolutely, for me it hurts everytime, but this thing is just the best.

    Thanks Yasmine, for showing it!

  • I heard about this today, my friend is going to a saloon here in sweden to do this! =) I'm gonna try this! so thanks for uploading this video! =)

  • Thanks a mill' for this upload. Since I moved to the country I cant get my eyebrows done so easily so your tutorial will be invaluable to me now.

  • genial!!! great!! i like it!!

  • i had it done for the first time today... it hurt so much lol, is this normal for the first time??

  • I shape my Browns and the Hair in the face this way. And I love it.

It is very efficient and only hurts a little bit the first times.

  • never even heard of this technique...lol

  • LOL thanx happy threading. thank 4 advice

  • It DOES hurt!

  • @lisa2012abc beeing beautiful hurts

  • it feels the EXACT same way as plucking your eyebrows! i dnt see the difference in pain but this method is SOOOOOO much better! thanks for this!!!!

  • @lisa2012abc no absolutely it's so painless trust me

  • Great tutorial! thank you for sharing!

  • omg this is so difficult =\ i even pocked my eye in the process...

  • tried it & I suck lol

  • i got my eyebrows threaden at da mall...but it was painful:/....but they look awesome now...lol

  • I have very sensitive skin and this is not painless to everyone - remember, pain is subjective. This is faster and more comfortable than waxing or tweezing though. I don't think I could bring myself to do this to myself. I'd be more likely to rip my whole eyebrow out.

  • wow ive never heard of doing this.

    screw tweezers!

  • Wow! This is the 1st time I've heard about this. Thanks for sharing! :)

  • @karmaxx actually in arabic countries they do this all the time :)

  • this seems like a great idea but when it comes to stuff that could be painful i like to stick to what i know plucking may hurt but im a bit too scared to do this haha!

thanks for the idea though :)

  • hey jasmine! im 13 and got my brows waxed today but wanted a bit more of an arch! But I am soooo glad i found this! I followed the instructions and did it as you said and it worked out beautifully! Thanks so much! :)

  • that looks painful, but i want to get my eyebrows threaded : )) it looks cool.

  • I had mine done in the UK...not that painful at all and it's nice and clean.....if you can handle cramps or childbirth...you can handle anything...lol :)

  • luv it!

  • wow, this is freakin awesome! hahaha this day, like TODAY is the very first day i've heard of "threading". AMAZED much? i Am. :) thanks, i'm going to try this technique

  • i tried my lip & I did it. Awesome Eyebrows are alot harder though. I'm opening my own threading booth at the mall next week j/k lol.

  • it not painless it hurt .. after a while i had a headache it was awful but then i did it again and it was ok still hurt but not as bad as the first

  • is it possiblee to accedentaly pluck off your eyebrow ? . . i'd seen this 'techigue' on America's Next Top Model . i jsut didnt know how to do it .. .

  • It's not painless... u still feel a little pain which you can still get over with.

  • That's brilliant. Costs a fortune to get it done at a salon. I'm definately going to be having a go at this!

  • This is great and so professional like...

  • Are you sure it totally painless??

Im scared because I heard the ''puck pick puck'' when you did it -_-

  • @GreyBillie you have to get used to it but I find it painless.

  • @oxfordjasmine yeah. it hurts a little bit, but that pain lasts for like 2 seconds. doesnt hurt, and im 13!

  • @oxfordjasmine could you add subtitles to the video, possibly? it would help a lot for those whose native language is not English. this seems the best vid about threading, but some can understand only written English.

  • @GreyBillie exactly....plucking just takes time to get use too....then you'll develop a tolarence.....of course ...your first few tries will hurt......but trust me....the hair in your eyebrow area hurts a lot less than that above your lip or cheeks

  • @GreyBillie Well if you try it for the first time, it hurts alot, i remember doing it when i was younger. but it does get better after a while

  • @GreyBillie It's not painless. Actually, if you do it properly it should hurt.

  • @GreyBillie lol puck pick puck.

  • @GreyBillie It's pretty painful the first time you try it, but after sometime it becomes really painless (i'm very sensitive to pain, and sometimes i tear, but pain is really little)

  • @GreyBillie if you go to a pro , u wont feel anything. at least i didnt feel anything.

  • @GreyBillie personally..for me i swear by threading. i think with her doin it herself in the video she can thread herself in a way to cause less pain. i say this because ive had it done with a girl where i could tell she was doing it a type of way to make it feel as if it were ripping out painfully. for some reason my eye brow area is sensetive any way. it hurts me. im not gonna lie.

  • @GreyBillie well of corse its gunna hurt a little youre pulling hair from your face from the roots what do you expect -_-

  • @GreyBillie It's just like fast plucking.

  • @GreyBillie It's a bit painless but it isn't as bad as tweezing. You feel kind of a scrape or a scratch but a very light one. Then it's done :)

  • thank you so much!!! i just tried it and its really easy and it looks like i had my eyebrows waxed.

  • This is like magic!

  • I have just lost my decent tweezers and my others don't pick up half the hairs, and are really painful so this is really helpful :) xx

  • what do you practice on, if you dont want to ruin your eyebrows?

  • @shygurldance mustache perhaps? or to any other facial hair...because like them..if they got scared then, u'll never find ways how to master it.

  • Thank you very much for the explaination :) and the closed up ... i'll try this in my legs first so i can get the grip of control. thanks thanks thanks!

  • wow!

  • Ohhh i thought threading was like... sticking needles in you... *ouch!* I guess i was wrong... haha

  • Thank you so much for this video it really helped me get the hang of threading !!

My boyfriend has asked me if ill do his brows sometime and I was wondering if you have any tips for threading male brows ??

    Thxx xoxoxo

  • What ever happend to tweezers?

  • tweezers are still there... which is great if you have a handful of thick stray hairs. But nothing beat a quick zip with thread for perfect shaping and getting rid of a lot of ultra fine hairs quickly.

  • well this one painless, so you can use tweezers ( if you want)

  • Excellent video. I can't wait to get threading!! I hope it is as easy as Oxford Jasmine made it look!

  • Wow... Great video. I've definately gotta try this! =)

  • woah it works really well<3 5 star x

  • great video. I just got my eyebrows threaded for the first time yesterday and it worked out so well I had to see if I could do it myself.

  • i tried it . but its too much work .

  • thanks so much 4 this vid

its really helpful (i don't know why exactly, but this technique turned out to be SO different from what i initially thought lol)

  • Gonna try it right now!! I ve seen on tv and it made me want to try it :) they did it in Indian Beauty Centres in Paris :)

  • y do you need this technique if you have tweezers?

  • Because it's so much faster.

  • @lumberjackette09 ive always done as it is being done in this video..ive never went to have my eyebrows plucked in beauty salons.. ive done it always myself and this technique is the best one.. tweezers only can define ur eyebrows ..the tweezers dont take off all the unwanted hairs x

  • this girl is very beautiful)))

  • Great tutorial! Gonna try it...gotta buy some thread :)

  • i love your accent!

  • thanks for this video its so helpful.. I'll thread my eye browse tonight! haha,, ^^

  • It's allways important ti praktice, whatever you do.

    Thanks!!! Nice Vid.

  • this looks great, never new ya could do this...

iv always used tweezers and plucked my eyebrows,

it wouldnt be more painful that plucking if i done it wrong... :)

  • thanks for this. i didn,t know it was possible to thread yourself!

  • it works and i'm pretty much used to doing it, but at the beginning i found it quite painful... but eventually you get used to it :]

  • whoo..it looks hard..wanna try it but im afraid..

  • Just tried it and the results were better than waxing IMO, and so much kinder to the skin.

I think the thickness of your brows will determine how much the process will hurt.

  • hey! i've tried this and its sooo cool! but it hurts a lil'... does anyone know what im doing wrong? because she says if it hurts..... i dunno. i just need help lol

  • does it work?? Did anyone try it?

  • @malinkowo Yup. Painful but it works >_>

  • it does and traditional before any tweezers invented, my mum do the same when she was young lol

  • nice !

It looks so scary to do it xD

  • wow!

  • thats freakin amazing

  • THis is the best description of threading that I've ever seen.

  • ild tried this in some Salon..its really very fast and painless..thank you so much for sharing...

  • you make it look sooo easy, thats for this video!

  • How fascinating! I've never seen or heard of that before! I'm going to give that a go.

  • Can you get more then one hair at once?

  • yes u can!

  • is the thread suppose to make my fingers hurt or am i doing it wrong?
