But my point is that less than 1% producing food for more than 99% is an unsustainable ratio; we go to great lengths to achieve it (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, gmf, etc), and we have depleted topsoil, polluted the environment, and contaminated our food supply, etc.

If the grocery shelves are empty, no amount of gold will buy you food. And if....

However, it would make sense to try to establish a de facto standard now.
