okay, 1stley evreyone makes mistakes, and 2nd the appering "brief case from ladder" - which you said at the end, does not misdiirect anything once you have preformed the trick, and 3rdley you clearley showed how its done!!!! as a magician i would recomend you redo the trick and talk corectley
You completely confused and baffled me with your verbal misdirection, dude.
But now that I have watched this video several times I have figured this out : you have a special hole/trapdoor cut in the concrete under the briefcase (I can see the outline of the trapdoor where you set the briefcase down) . Your assistant Igor feeds the ladder up through the hole and you pull it "magically" from the briefcase. Criss Angel does this trick too and his is better because he uses a camera edit.
criss angel doesnt use camera cuts, just because you dont know how it is done doesnt mean that it cant be done, this is a gimmick you can actually buy

no the ladder is gimmicked. It becomes a little ladder and then you can "stretch" it out.
