  • Wow, I don't think those propagandists and animal rights people fully understand how dangerous radiation actually is. Who in there right mind would want to rescue and/or take in a pet that had been "living" in Strontium-cesium-plutonium-ville for the last year?

  • @nismobeach In Chernobyl, they sent in hunters and shot all the animals... I dunno... But one thing they did mention in the Chernobyl documentary,,, the hair of the animal had so much radiation in it, there was no use to rescue it... cross contamination and such. I dunno... I just dunno..

  • @MsMilkytheclown All them animals will be well dosed up with radiation. Think the right thing to do would be a cull of all the animals so no humans "mistakenly" eat contaminated food. If contaminated livestock mated with un contaminated, would the uncontaminated stock then become radiated? Or would you have malformed/DNA damaged stock that could have an adverse affect when consumed by humans?

  • Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your updates. It must get hard to do them sometimes; I know that having to deal with bad news/info day after day can drag a person down. I have a sister and 2 nephews still in Tokyo who, due to their loyalty to their country, won't leave.

  • @miiitymous I understand. I put this up a while ago (July 28, 2011) and it was a Real Eye Opener for me...

  • Question: How many Becquerels (of any radioactive material) are safe to ingest?

    Answer: NONE

Generally speaking, I used to think that the Japanese were perhaps the smartest people on Earth ... um ... my opinion has changed.

We're all living in one big "rubber life raft" floating in space, and these morons are playing Lawn Darts, lovely.

They are stranger than I ever thought:

  • Yep, they WERE WARNED... I remember that specifically...

  • @MsMilkytheclown Yeah i think in that report the camera was also recording from a car and the blue and gray(ish) containers were all around. Enormous quantities stacks and stacks, rows and rows of it. In many places, not just around the plant. Even in urban areas... i wonder i they checked all that as well

  • pipe bursting from ice... where did we hear that one before... Oh maybe the cheap pipes TEPCO installed in the summer:( The reports then clearly suggested this will gonna happen.
