I used to think he was guilty as well, until recently. I now suspect that he might have had something to do with it but the other step father, Hobbs, seems much more likely candidate. I think that this Byers dude is/was just plain stupid and severely mentally ill. His inability to stay away from the cameras almost got him put away. He now thinks that Damien and the rest are innocent due to new DNA evidence. He was just listening to the police and authorities. Extremely gullible fellow.

Huh? Have you even kept up with this case? They've found strands from one of the step father's hair and DNA on the victim's shoes. There's literally no physical evidence to tie any of them to the murders. Several judges and police officers were promoted as a result of the false convictions which is why they resisted further investigation. But now, with the new DNA evidence, even the supreme court is involved. Why would you want three innocent ppl in prison forever? (they're adults now, BTW)

It seems to me the USA justice system thinks it is above the law.Ido not understand with so much doubt in this case,why the justice department does not swallow its pride and re-open the investigation and make 100% sure they have the right people.I am unsre if the three are guilty,but unsure to if the parent is guilty.But I guess that this is the norm of US justice.
