Very common error, leak of power in the turn, caused by the tire while cornering! because the contact patch is smaller than in the straight position. simple rule "lean=gas" always give bit more gas in the turn.
Do you reckon if you didn't lean as much as you did, could have you avoided this accident? Its a shame it happened this way. Look like the front wheel slided straight underneath you. I've done this heaps on my trail bike on dirt, but never on a road bike yet...
Bugger mate, I had a friend come off his bike on a patch of gravel, unavoidable... Tough break about the bike. You could tell it didn't look right when you turned into the bend
Just ignore the useless idiots with the useless remarks, they wouldnt even dare put up a video of a crash they made couse they lack real balls!!!! (let alone crash it and not run home to mommy)
@route66powersports1 hey douchebag he wasn't even going that fast. It can and dose happen to anyone, if you have been riding long enough you know a stupid crash is just around the corner.
I hope you had a better view of the road surface than the one we see on the video. The way the shadows from the trees falls across the road, it is hard to pick up a patch of new slippery asphalt or oilspill.
that really sucked that it crashed .... he was enjoying hes new ducati feeling like a bad ass and next thing u know THE left mirror is OUT lol u proably fixed it by now doe
Wish you would've shown the damage! Most the roads in Pa here are horrible. Lots of country riding but sand, gravel, deer, trees, people. So many obstacles to watch out for. Good luck

Did you go slightly off the throttle right before the crash and in the middle of cornering? Almost sounds like.. transferred weight to the front.. less grip on the rear.. slide. Thanks for sharing your experience and I hope your bike is alright.
Anybody who knows me well mentioned the same thing. . . You weren't mad? I thought you would atleast let some words fly . . . .I managed to stay pretty calm through it all.
Man I still have a mirror from my GSXR after it got hit by an F150. Nothing more heartbreaking than your baby getting hurt.

That blood mountain or 180? looks very familiar. Only thing worse about going down up there is the cops will also write you a ticket.
