  • The trains pneumatic system will still work as long as there is compressed air available, (the compressors will work until the train is off power, & there will be stored air available for some time).

  • Although there are no power rails in the "shed", the far end of the train is still on the 4 rails until just before the shed shutters. Train will pick up power from the far end, until the last car is just entering the shed. The trains momentum will allow it to be rolled until in the correct position to stop.

    After this, power can be supplied from the 630v "jumper" cables, which you can see looped at the side of the inspection pit.
