C'mon, "Internet in your pocket?" Give me a break - you're telling me that they can cram the entire infrastructure, into your pocket. OBVIOUSLY it's a figure of speech. Any reasonable person knows that the Internet includes many different things, the web being on a small (but popular) part of it. Flash, Java, whoop-dee-doo. You could argue that there's no built in ssh, ftp, telnet, on the iPhone either. Maybe people ARE dumb to expect to have the ENTIRE Internet on their phone.

At this point, half the internet is completely inaccessible without java and flash, so it's not that the iPhone doesn't "have" the internet on it, it's that it can't even access all the internet. Can't watch most videos, play online games, watch flash animations, etc...

There's a lot more on the Internet besides a bunch of lame ass videos encoded in proprietary formats, running poorly written code that runs with exceptions at every turn. Just because you have problems browsing your pr0n sites doesn't mean the Internet's missing. And any site programmed in flash is just a poor excuse for a web site - or just laziness on the developer's part.

It sounds to me like that part you read is an admission of a false claim. I wonder if it would be seen that way in a court of law. It seems to me if you make that kind of claim that can be interpreted as literal you need to add a disclaimer in your commercial.
