Most "hip" comedy shows in the UK would have the same jokes, I am afraid. This is just how the US is perceived in Britain. I think the image of America is about to change for the better. Unfortunately, it gets linked up with the politics and we did not as a whole like W. We take the piss out of ouselves and our own politics too though. Americans are probably a bit more sensitive than us,

It's won't change really. There'll just be more jokes about possible assassination attempts and jokes about racism. It's funny just take it with a pinch of salt.
