@jgjghgh It's a good thickness. Maybe half an inch? Haven't really measured. It fits my face really well and doesn't hurt at all. It is very comfortable and most of the time you never realize it's on. The ears are fine.

The demand is really high for these masks, but the price is so high that it lowers demand. Part of the novelty of the masks is that they are unique, if the price was low, they would lose their value.

I guess the makers found a balance where they keep their product unique, and make enough money to pursue the craft as a job, yet I still get the feeling that it's not exactly a day job.

For a better effect remember to paint your eyelids with a non abrasive dark paint to either match the skin tone of the mask or a black paint. Trust me, it completes the look without having to get contacts.

Would`nt it be cheaper to buy liquid latex/silicon and have a form of yourself to apply it onto, then add pressure and make-up/paint job with the finished "mask set-up"?

looks way to glossy in the light Imo.

A Mask of that price range should work both perfect at day and night, night is obvious but, yeah.

hey ya it is shiny. BUT that was a 2 three 3 yr ago. had like a glossy paint job. now its a matte. now they are hardly shiny and you can fix it with a little power. and makup has to be touched up and take a while to put on and just a mess. this 2 seconds. sent you a pm check it out

You could try some spirit gum or liquid latex around the inside of the mask's lips, might help to move the mouth more.

If you use a bit of liquid latex around your lips to adhere it, you can move the mouth much better.

no, no, no, not liquid latex, not if you don't want to be choked by ammonia fumes and loose the skin from your lips! a bit of spirit gum would probably be best. remove with baby oil if you don't have the proper remover, much kinder to yourself, i promise!! x

Liquid latex's fumes go away after a few minutes, trust me. I use it all the time, and it comes off pretty easy, easier with the same remover you use for spirit gum.
