  • great tune and very nice version. i can hear that twangy jaw harp too. great stuff. those festivals a really a lot of fun to go to over the summer. i used to go to the brandywine ol time festival in woodstown new jersey before my present schedule prevents me from getting down that way.

    this festival looks like a great one to though. thanks for posting.

  • This is also one of my very favorite tunes. I play it a little slower and you might enjoy my two finger style of interpretation.

  • The tune is called "Bonneparte Crossing the Rhine". We had never talked about whether to play the A and B parts once or twice through each round. We never really got it together until well into the tune....we just adapted as we went along. I also think it is an uplifting melody. Thanks.
