The way I see it, once the fetus has a heartbeat it is alive. If a person is dead when their heart stops beating they must be alive once it begins to beat. If people are going to get an abortion they should do it before then, not wait until it's almost to term and have it stabbed in the head as it's delivered (late term abortion).
I personally think that abortion shouldn't happen, because there's is always the possibility of putting the baby up for adoption. i'm pro-responsibility, but until people take responsibility, free-choice is a necessary imperative. In some instances women may be forced to have a child (perhaps from forced intercourse) or are forced to abort a girl fetus (or newborn) in favor of a son. i'm pro-responsibility, but until people take responsibility, free-choice is a necessary imperative. In some instances women may be forced to have a child (perhaps from forced intercourse) or are forced to abort a girl fetus (or newborn) in favor of a son. Humans have a L-O-N-G way to go towards comprehending the concept of responsibility, on so many levels.

Ok, I'm pro-choice. Why? Well, even if you consider a fetus a person nobody is required to put their health and life in jeopardy for anybody else. A woman can suffer permanent health damage or even death carrying a baby to term. It something that should be done voluntarily. I'm not required to give up my kidney to anybody, even if it means somebody else will die. Why should a woman be required to give up their uterus to anybody?

Yeah, but then who should have more rights, the unborn person without a name, without sentience, or the person already born, with a name, loved ones, family, and a life? I think the government doesn't have the right to make that decision. It sounds like a very personal decision to me. I do have one question why are so many pro-lifers against contraception if they don't want abortions? I think they're trying to use pregnancy as a means to control women. Its been done before.

I think it should just be done with thought and responsibility. You are kind of an ass if you think something shouldn't be respected if it has no name, loved ones, or sentience(that is debatable on when the abortion is done). I'm not going to go black or white on this issue because like he said in the video, both sides are fucked up. Ha. Pregnancy to control women. Um last i checked the woman almost always willfully participated in the events leading to the pregnancy.

I think maybe people should be pro-responsibility. If you really think that its a healthy culture that uses abortion as birth control then thats fine I guess. I've been having sex for years now and, look! No kids, no abortions. Must be magic.
