I have this DDR H.P. and I bought an extra mat for a party and everyone had fun. Was looking for a review on DDR2 have you gotten this version yet? I commend you for the difficult level since I can't even get past the mid level!

I HATE HATE HATE how they ruin songs like they do. It's just like fricken Kidz Bop. Any other DDR game is better than that crap. I'm sorry to the people who like that one game but...I must say you've GOTTA be on crack to even remotely enjoy this game.

Well IMO I didn't like the dance appearances, nor the graphics of what made the game so memorble, like something crazy like DDR Revolution and Max which were my afves because of the song playlist and their style

I believe konami added to much gimmicks i mean freeze arrows, ice arrows, bomb arrows, spinning arrows Konami is just busting ideas atm even tho u could turn it off I h8ed how i had to turn off the hand and gimmick settings everytime i've palyed, the settings dont save

You know, the only real issue hand markers had was the fact that you had to do a quick snapping motion with them, otherwise they would either detect the motion late or not at all. And you couldn't really move your arms around either, otherwise you'd run the risk of it detecting a previous motion before the one you really wanted. Other than that, their implementation wasn't bad at all. Some of the charts were really good with them enabled. Of course HP2 completely straightened this out.

you played just fine I think. those mats suck anyway. I use the metal spaces on the arcade to maintain a sense of direction on the pads. those plastic ones don't have that. on top of which they can slide around a lot. but in any case, I think you did just fine. don't sweat it... lol.
