For Perles75 who said there was no spark at this concert. You must not have been there. The place was on fire. The two of them provided one of the most wonderful evenings of singing I have ever attended. They are old friends yet were "competitive." At one point JDF stood on the podium to get as tall as DB was - very funny.

Great voices of course, but everything a bit predictable for the conducting and the orchestra... no sparks

I have always loved Juan Diego, but for some reason I think Mateuzzi and Lucia Valentini Terrani are still the best..... just a personal opinion...
