This is cool, to see a famous landmark where you live on here. I just took my 19 yr old daughter there a few weeks ago. She and I take one nice day every summer and go to Seattle Center, go on some rides, play some games, go to Pacific Science Center, go up the Space Needle, which isn't cheap, uhh, Pike Place Market, just have a fun day doing Seattle, i may live here but I never tire of all there is to do here, the Mountains, Rainier, Baker & St. Helens. it's a beautiful place to live, Karri
I love the Space Needle so much. I live about 30 miles south of Seattle, so I don't make it up to Seattle all too much, mainly for Mariner games (Which suck ass...).
I've only been in the Needle probably four times, but it's amazing.
i live near seattle and ive been to the space needle a couple times. ive only had dinner up there once and you dont notice the rotation because it takes about 45 minutes to rotate. good video.
What's fun is that people will leave notes and things on the windowsill and then an hour later, they'll come back around to it and find that other people have added to it.
Even though it's a 30 second clip shown twice, it's still an awesome watch and listen. My knee jerk reaction might've been to get negative; but the ideas, music and implementaion of all the clips are great and, of course, better than anything I've done. Anyway, a half minute probably would have been a nuisance to constantly replay.
I noticed at 30/31 seconds a glitch with the background sky, although everything in the foreground and the outside surface had retained continuity. The clouds had a slight shift and changed from light grey to dark grey and a got a little heavier in bulk and definition. Was it a freak of nature, a moved tripod and/or missed photo or two?
It was interesting to see the one way motion of the clouds appear to change directions based on the rotational position. First away from - then to the left - then toward it - then to the right - and so on.
was it looping, cause i noticed they stop up left but then came back again unless they went to the toilet but then again the outside looked like it went dark then went light again all of a sudden. am i correct?
yeh clouds are great, otherwise it would just be the two bobbing head siloquttes throughout. Dont do the dandelion, everyone does that. I seen a few of a fox carcass rotting, thats also a popular one:S
I have done a rat rotting over the space of two weeks. I've been reluctant to post it because of the gross factor; although you can't really see the maggots - just there wiggling presence under the skin.
hahaha really? cool, yeh u should post that ide love to see it. How did u set it up? ive always wanted to try somthing like that but too worried about the mess and smell:S
I have been on top of the space needle but not in the restaurant which this appears to be. I heard it was really expensive. The clouds do make added movement but idk know that added movement due to clouds is something that you should be striving to achieve. If it were lighter out you may have had a better view of boats and stuff, I think a couple of those white fluffy clouds in a big blue sky would have been the best.
Yes, it is expensive. The lunch prices were twice what you would expect, but that's the price you pay for such a cool view. I guess you should compare it to the cost of dinner and a movie.
I remember back in the 90's they had a breakfast that was really good and not WAY over priced - it was like $15. That was the best! Great job! You are making me want to give it a shot myself! I can't remember, would there be a way to set a small tripod right by the window or would reflection be a problem? I have a suction cup mount that would be great if the window moved with it! *L* I can't remember have you commented on any of my Seattle timelapse clips? "Montlake timelapse" and "murphicus"
on your channel somebody mentions doing a dandelion timelapse. I think that is a really good idea. you should definately do it, or maybe a caterpillar cucoon, but that has been done many many times and just isn't all that unheard of. I change my mind please do the dandelion but for sure don't do the caterpillar
i didnt even know it spun

Same with Oregon. I'll never live anywhere except the Pacific NW for the same reasons you stated!

You dont even notice it. It spins at like 2mph but everything is far away you cant really tell.

the resturant spins completely around every 1 hour. so no, it dose not spin so fast that you get sick.
