  • fuck i hate these 2 minute videos. ive seen the same one posted by 4 youtubers but never the full thing. i wanna hear what this man has to say damnit!

  • They way he describes marijuana is something I've always known to be true but have never been able to put to words. Carlin was a smart man.

  • Tottaly agree with what he said about pt. Pots nice and all but eventually you do grow out of it. Or you hit arrested development.

  • @guyNbluejeans Lol, you sound a little bit butt devastated. He speaks his mind and his mind happened to be true.

  • @Dallishar Let me know if you should ever care to "explore" some of the particulars of the sap's views.

  • @guyNbluejeans Clearly you are unable to think, which is a real shame.

  • @Dallishar And what do you base that on? All I did was ask you if you'd care to explore some of the jackasses views, and three hours later you return and take a shot at me. You calin fans, like the boy himself, all seem to have one thing in common, a lack of brains.

  • @guyNbluejeans Are you kidding me? Did you even watch the video? He talks about how corporations are the ones who are in control of America and Americans don't give a fuck. He talks about how the country is corrupt and that there is no hope for this species. He talks about morons like you.

  • @Dallishar Lol guess he didn't know what to say to that when the realization hit him.

  • @guyNbluejeans You suggest he has done nothing, but all you seem capable of doing is coming here and spewing BS. He was not a "potty-mouth" as you suggest, actually in his life he was a very quiet man who did not use "foul language".

His appeal was to the younger generations who saw the hypocritical nature of the establishment in this country. What he pointed out was that corporations were buying and selling this country. This country is run by corporations who influence policy with money.

  • Rufus ! No Way !

  • Like this? you should hear terence mckenna

  • I am sick of hearing about Ron Paul, like he is some god about to bring change. If he wins the election it is because the corporations allowed him to.

  • There is no point to cynicism while usually true. Hope is Libery, please check out Ron Paul 2012. down with the corporations!!!

  • i love humanity, we are the only creature who can create what we think. dont use eletricity if you dont like humanity, dont drive your cars or go to mckadees lolz.

  • @hmoobontherun Actually McMuffin is definition of what is best?

  • bill hicks and george carlen are brillant.. anyone know of anyone else worth watching ?

  • @4HoursSleep I don't know of anyone else with that "edge" Carlin refers to but for a very good laugh watch Billy Connolly. Crazy accent but the guy doesn't tell jokes. He tells some of his actual life experiences with a natural comic which is pure magic. He was born to make people laugh. Just a natural. It's likely to be more difficult now to find similar comics because the media are shutting their doors tight to anyone with actual talent. Just do your best to share these videos :)

  • @papapetad thx for taking the time to replie.. i know of all the guys u mentiond tho, to me they dont come anywhere close to bill or george but there still funny and worth a watch

i only found out about george the other day so ive been watching all his stuff.. he is something else

    thx again for ya replie

    all the best

  • @4HoursSleep Ricky Gervais is alright too but he doesn't want to risk his super fame by saying anything too pointy against government systems. Still a great comedian and it's some consolation to not being able to listen to more Carlins and Hicks...the french have a guy called Dieudonne who is basically the new Hicks with more edge than ever. That guy's absolute dynamite but very little of his stuff is subtitled and some of the humour gets lost in translation. Check it nonetheless

  • I really miss George, he was one of the few willing to speak the absolute truth and in the best possible way so that people could actually get the message.

  • I DISAGREE. DID YOU READ HIS BOOK: LAST WORDS? AMAZING READ, THE MAN REALLY PUSHED BOUNDARIES DURING THE 60'S AND 70'S, EVERYONE CANNOT SAY THAT THEY DID THAT

  • @IH8Palin Wouldn't it be better if we all worked to push boundaries or at least do I best to do so? A variation of that is what was said in my comment.

  • where can i see this entire show or whatever you wanna call it?

  • Carlin called 'bullshit!' wherever he found it. Left, right, rich, poor. I fear we will not see his like again.

  • Isn't he apart of this corporatocracy? I mean he did make millions from the middle class. He went to private schools and then complains about the wealthy.

  • @attemptingtobehumble okay 1. he grew up a poor catholic 2. he doesn't exactly complain and 3. he's indifferent to the outcome for the human race, he's just here for the show and he's using the system he dislikes.

  • @attemptingtobehumble A man's origins are not a problem. And there is nothing wrong with making millions, but what did you do to make those millions? Did you use questionable banking practices? Did your company bribe/lobby government to tailor laws to suit your company, or get you contracts?

  • @Dragonsecho3 Just saying I have a difficult time listening to someone constantly complain about the wealthy when that person is wealthy. No one should be idolized even Carlin.

  • @attemptingtobehumble he didn't single out wealth as something to dislike. He specifically pointed out that his dislike had to do with their values and beliefs.

  • @blahblibidyblahblah It is hard to respect someone's value system when they do commercials for CHUM fm, fuji video tapes, and MCI's 10-10-220. I enjoyed Carlin as much as anyone else but it annoyed me when he started ranting about the wealthy.

  • @attemptingtobehumble WTF? You don't like rants about the wealthy? Why would you say this? WE NEED MORE RANTS ABOUT THE WEALTHY FFS. MORE RANTS, MORE RANTS, EXPOSE THIS DIVISION BS! (In fact, if it's a wealthy ranting about the wealthy it's even better, cus he's criticizing himself!)

  • @attemptingtobehumble well, the way I see it is that everyone has to make a living somehow...whether he liked it or not he had to take part in this economic system if he wanted to survive. And if you're annoyed by his ranting about the wealthy, then you're either wealthy yourself or you just don't get it

  • @blahblibidyblahblah well when a good number of them believe that their taxes should not be raised, I do question their values and beliefs

  • @attemptingtobehumble and you don't get it either..no one would listen to you or I rant, but someone famous ranting gets attention and he knows this. And this is how he is getting the message out about the 1% that are content to let other people shoulder their burden..ie. taxes. And he was not wealthy, he was rich, big difference

  • HAHAHAHA! i love that little pose he does when hes talking about the tuxedo/suit.

It so simple, but it has heavy meaning. I dunno, i guess only pot smokers would get that.

  • Wow, I totally agree with the pot thing.

  • @YallDontEvenKnow

I play the game of real humanity. I'm still young, but I'll travel the world and see all I can, know all I can, then tell people about it, let them know we're all alike, that there is no ever-lasting and eternal enemy. There is no reason for people to start shooting and killing each other over money and difference of opinion. It won't change the world, but if a couple other people behind me, it just might.

  • @Mytholgylove Just leave it be, the hypocrisy, arrogance and stupidity is endless in this world, live a happy life, worry about your own, don't stand out, die. That's all that is to it.

  • @EAxMaverick

That seems to mediocre for me, I was born on a planet that is never short of problems and questions that have to be solved, or it will mean the destruction of all of us, and I believe solving them would become at least a little easier if people followed what I've said above.

  • @Mytholgylove One can and will start a change, the problem is everyone else.

  • @EAxMaverick

Choosing not to stand out sounds like part of the problem in that case.

  • @Mytholgylove Standing out and problems are proportionate. Self-sacrifice is required above all, and people usually try to avoid that. Remember the famous Japanese quote.

  • @EAxMaverick

    Which one is that?

  • @Mytholgylove The nail that stands out will get hammered. Or something like that.

  • @EAxMaverick

There's no greater achievement than to have faced adversity and won, if the nail gets hammered, encourage the nail to resist, no matter what.

  • it won for comedy of the yee

  • He right about marijuana. I hit my wall a little while ago, now the stuff just makes me sick. LOL

  • Greatest philosopher of our time.

  • @JaysThoughts

    True.

  • @JaysThoughts

He's not a philosopher, he's not a poet or a messiah, he's very eloquent, and a wordsmith, but that doesn't really matter, what does matter is that he's THINKER. I don't think he should be so celebrated, because he does what EVERYONE should do, question things, don't buy into the human species' special variety of stupid shit like religion, money, the "rules of social interaction", "morals", etc.

    Fuck Humanity.

  • @Mytholgylove very well said brotha

  • @Mytholgylove exactly! well said....too bad there a rent more of us people.

  • @Mytholgylove fuck hope

  • @Mytholgylove Don't over-generalize. We're the only species capable (as far as i'm aware of) that is capable of such rational thought.

  • @KellandGreystone

That doesn't really matter if we throw rational thought away on stupid distractions that I and George himself have mentioned.

  • @KellandGreystone Capable yet not-willing.

  • @TheBoredProle Yeah, some of us. Though that notion's beginning to go down the drain.

  • @TheBoredProle Again, don't over-generalize. We're seeing the awakening of many peoples in the current times. Yes, many people all over the world have been silent about their overt servitude we can now see that many of the modern people today are waking to their plight.

  • @Mytholgylove Don't lose hope, little one

  • @ZenMasterT07

    I'll try, Grandmaster. XD

  • @Mytholgylove Indeed, but there is nothing wrong with seeing someone else and admiring their life's work...

  • @rockoutmichigan

Oh no no no, don't get me wrong, if his work makes you happy and you enjoy it, then that's wonderful, and more power to you, but I don't think what he said in his routines is as entirely revolutionary as people might make it out to be.

  • @Mytholgylove agreed.. ppl dont think nearly enough.. and its not hard to do.

  • @Mytholgylove What? He should be celebrated, he is Goerge fucking Carlin!

  • @BandakaKush

He should be celebrated, but not in the method of calling him a philosopher or ground-breaking thinker. He's just the latter, a thinker, and extraordinary things come from people who do. I'm just saying, "don't reward someone for doing what they SHOULD be doing all along."

  • @Mytholgylove In other words, he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!

  • @Mytholgylove fuck humanity . why humanity is not all bad.. and don't bag on religion .... all religion isn't so bad. it's mainly Abrahamic faiths that have caused problems.. but look to the far east .. Buddhism is a peaceful faith .. i think society does need a construct of moral values ..

    ~secular humanist

  • @DarkprinX2500 it doesn't necessarily have to come from religion .. but we cannot deny that prostitution, gangs, pornographic companies, tobacco companies, drugs , mass advertising of these things example .)subliminal sex messages ,etc have led to degeneration of society and these things have flourished partly because of the individulistic anti-altruistic nature of western society..

  • @DarkprinX2500 these are diseases.. i believe secular humanism and collectivism and altruism is the answer... .. i like george he makes some fine points... but i don't agree with him on everything ..

  • the thing i think needs the most light shined on it is flouride in our water supply... it impairs our God given freewill... and its in alot of things besides our water supply.. light needs to be shined on the federal reserve.. light needs to be shined on the media .. the drug companies, People need to be informed on what Fascism is so they know when they are part of the problem instead of the solution... these lights need to organize and not be manipulated by fear.

  • @TheIgnoramus Agreed

  • @DarkprinX2500

Fuck humanity for their complacency and their easily corruptible nature. Fuck religion, no matter how reputable something's reputation is, there are always strings attached, Buddhism has engaged in war before, the same as Islam, Christianity, etc. I'm not atheist, I do believe that it is *possible* for a universal consciousness to exist, but not in any form we humans have defined. Every society DOES have a construct of moral values, and utilizes it primarily when it's convenient.

  • @Mytholgylove Buddhism is more a culture than a religion, it's not quite about god, is it? Probably why it's the least bad of the bunch. Btw, most atheists consider it possible that a creator exists, but so unlikely that it's not worth believing. They're simply not theistic, as the word implies.

And yeah, humans are pretty useless. Got nice "gifts", then use them on getting a cellphone that will make them pancakes and rub their balls.

  • @Mytholgylove Thank you for saying this so I didn't have to.

  • @Mytholgylove Did you honestly say that he shouldn't be celebrated because he did what everyone SHOULD do? Someone should've discovered AC long time ago but no one did until Edison. And that's why we celebrate him too. You can't say he shouldn't be celebrated because of that. The fact is that he did what majority of people don't and he deserves respect and admiration for that, no matter how common it SHOULD be. It's not, therefore he truly WAS special.

    And yeah, fuck humanity.

  • @Qminoo

Did you fall asleep for the first part of my comment? I said he should be celebrated, but not as philosopher or groundbreaking thinker. Pay attention next time.

  • @Qminoo tesla

  • @ellmc95 Tesla what?

  • @Qminoo Tesla car?

  • @Mytholgylove How is he not a philosopher? Sure some of his stuff is not groundbreaking but there's stuff that is too.

  • @Qminoo

Not much of what he's said hasn't been said before by many men, some even greater than him. Men like Henry David Thoreau, Benjamin Franklin, and others. He was simply one of the re-tellers of our time, and I like him for that. I think he should be set as an example, not a utopia of mind.

  • @Mytholgylove True, and all three of them were expressing it in their own ways.

  • @Mytholgylove morals aren't exactly stupid shit but I agree

  • @PerpetualMotion3 Yeah they are. Ethics on the other hand are not.

  • @Mytholgylove didnt you just define a philosopher?

  • @nekkhakhi33

    Philosopher is a vague term.

In this case people call him a philosopher in the sense that he is a revolutionary thinker who is entirely original and earthshaking. If that's your definition of a philosopher is, then sure. Mine isn't.

  • @Mytholgylove - Exactly. I think Carlin himself would say the same.

  • @Mytholgylove Fuck it with a big rubber dick!

  • @Mytholgylove God damn it. Thats exactly how i feel.

Everyone should think. So fuck humanity.

  • @JaysThoughts not hardly, but i enjoyed hearing his thoughts

  • What a brilliant man.
