If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.

Without my extensions in I'm in the same boat with hair and layers. I tried a similar style the other day and it looked great. Will definitely be doing this in the future for warmer days without the extensions. Great tutorial as always and loving that top you are wearing!

i'm not sure if you'll be able to help me with this question, but, i have about 22-24 inch hair and i find it really difficult to use that wand (it's the exact same one) my mum and sister have hair about your length and it's easy to use on them, but i struggle to fit on my hair as it's so long and thick. thanks for reading, hope you can help :) <3

@kelsehxXx no its really different you only need a tiny bit - makes your hair huge, you would still need dry shampoo if your hair looked oily this just adds volume (lots more than a dry shampoo)

@Eimear93x I personally think so, they give a different type of wave to straighteners and are much quicker to use if you have thick hair because you can wind more hair around it than you can fit in a ghd so you can do bigger sections! Plus they are only about £25! xx
