I just got started on Facebook and now I find out that any information I put on Facebook can be shared with everyone. Why should it be so complicated to choose not to share? Thanks, Move.On for the help in blocking these settings.
Honestly, I don't have anything on my facebook personal enough for me to care. It's the internet, folks. Don't put anything on it you don't want anyone else to see. Period.
In 2009 MIT students used computers to scan fb profiles etc and figure out who people would vote for and who was in the closet, just by association (friends of friends, music likes etc, and all the other data)
Imagine the (shitty) possibilities for marketers politicians CIA etc
I don't see why Facebook doesn't make it -slightly- more difficult for us and just have us go to every single website in the world and click a button that says 'Don't use my Facebook information'.
Or maybe we could just buy stock in every corporation on earth, and go to shareholder meetings and beg the board of directors to take our Facebook information off their websites.
Nice video, very interesting! thanks for sharing, god bless!

We have to manually block every app/site that might want to use this feature? Nice move (again) Facefuck!

Thank you for the help. I'll spread the word. Now if we could just get the younger generation to value their privacy in the first place.
