Straight edge has been a fucking fashion show since at least the late 90's. If you're straight edge for you then theres no need to have x's on your hands and every shirt you own to go to shows with has to have some straight edge bullshit on it, you do it because it's a personal choice and because your "crew" is doing it.

@o101011o That's what I'm saying! I remember going to a show one time back in the day and a couple of edge kids were putting their x's on and and one of them tells his friend "Noooo! You're messing your x's up!" . It's also when I started seeing kids having to have the latest windbreaker, t-shirt, hoodie etc. that had "straight XXX edge" or whatever on it. But I don't think Choke is talking shit about edge as a whole but those kids that turned it into a fashion show or the ones that go militant.

This is simply a song about how many of the younger kids are full of nothing. A clique most of them fall into and out of real fast. Yes, this includes straightedge kids.
