  • Anyone know where you can learn how to play the piano part? Its so sick and I'm desperate.

  • First heard this song on a mixtape ages ago and havebeen looking for this song for three years now.. you have no idea how unbelievably happy it makes me to finally find it.

  • copyrights?

  • sandpeople were amazing- but they all split up :'( theyd be hella famous by now if they stuck to youtube though

  • @jaysonr0

They do alot of solo/subgroup stuff but by no means have they split up in the literal sense.

There are TWO Sandpeople group albums in the works, both of which will probably be released this year... I think they're naturally gonna wait a while till Skrill Talk has been out though.

  • The beats what drew me in then his voice pulled me in a little farther...now im here :))

  • Sand people..... Bumpin loud in Los Angeles

  • sick beat

  • Sandpeople for President !

  • It would be really hard to have red/green color blindness. Sometimes you might stop at a green light or bite into a red apple when you expected it to be green, and the worst part would be when you dislike something becasue you thought the thumb was green and not red. I feel sorry for those 9 people, they must have red/green color blindness

  • @tobby150 haha amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • Lol @ the thought this is being Christian rap.

THIS IS MUSIC MA'FUCKA. They put heart and soul into this which gives it substance but I guess some lack understanding of it.

  • sick shit, ive recently discovered alot of awesome underground , gotta love the internet

  • dis shit crispy as fuck

  • @lokohehehe Evidence & Dilated Peoples, Hieroglyphics, Gift Of Gab, Lifesavas, Brother Ali, Visionaries, Defari, Living Legends, Atmosphere, People Under The Stairs, I could go for an hour, but that ought to get you started! :)

  • @lokohehehe paving the way - incise

  • uplifting song!!! haters need something better to do with their time if they cant enjoy the message of this song

  • that second verse is some of the best shit I've heard in a long time

  • I adore this song. That piano is like pure love

  • The beat (sample) is one of the most amazing I've ever heard!!!!!!!

  • Is this christian rap?

  • @DClean

LOL no. I don't know if SP are even christian, some of them might be religious but I doubt they follow organised religion... well I hope not.

  • @HipHopAus Listen to "Any given Sunday", There they explain theyre relationships with god and religion

  • @Wrestlingfanatic922

lol yeah I have heard that track but I like to pretend it doesn't exist (not that it's a bad track but those type of lyrics just don't appeal to me)

  • @HipHopAus Nothing wrong with being religious, the fact that there might be a god/gods up there makes more sense than big bang actually. He doesn't have to be part of a religion to be religious.

  • @Colafreakz

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with being religious either, that's why I said "organised religion". I'm agnostic (if I had to choose).

  • @HipHopAus your confused about the christian rap, its an insult. they think jet planes and ice sculptures are gangsta now, they confused it pop music to bad i got terrible news, ganksta stil means the same shit it meant in 95 My pops went out for a fast snack And never brought his ass back Nobody knows how I feel It's quite I'll that I have to steal To fill my stomach with a nice meal Too ashamed to walk the streets Wearing the same cheap sneaks An dirty outfit for weeks
  • @ABOM420

    Oh, ok.

  • @DClean tbh, I believe in God but no religion.. so I kinda see them as possibly the same? I agree. I don't know if they're religious.. I don't think they are..

  • What song have they sampled from?:)

  • Sick song

  • Beautiful song love boys of sandpeople !!

  • dont get much better then this

  • holyshit

  • i've played sandpeeps for a few ppl an they turn away cause they into club beats and T-pain auto tuner type ish. they are obviously ignorant, i hope they weren't the ones who disliked haha

  • Been listning to Sandpeople for about 2 years now. And since the day I first heard them till now, I have never understood why these guys are so unknown. They're even unknown to most of the underground scene. Fuck Drake, BoB, Lil wayne and all those mainstream sellouts, hell fuck those "underground" rappers, JMT and Immortal Tech. Sandpeople is the best and always will be. Reppin true underground for life!

  • @Wrestlingfanatic922 only few better rappers better then them, minem, not love the way you lie eminem, marshal mathers and slim shady eminem and few unknown people

  • @Wrestlingfanatic922 i know its ridiclus how good they are in respect to how well known they are. people like onlyone i consider to be the best that are fuckin with hip hop these days

  • @Wrestlingfanatic922 fuck you immortal technique freestyles an hes one man makin that badass shit an hes got sack sayin the shit hes sayin

  • @vicstalr

    calm down, lol

  • @vicstalr Damn. People are so violent on the internet. I bought two of the first IT cd's, the third one he just repeated what he said in the first two. My point was he, JMT and some others get way too much respect, while Sandpeople, which imo is much better than them, gets no attention, whatsoever.

  • @Wrestlingfanatic922 oh aight, my fault bro thought you were sayin somethin else

  • whats the name of the album..?

  • @napster9ch

    Sandpeople - B-Sides Vol. 1 (2007)

  • This song is sick. Lyrics flo with the beat.

  • this beat is so ill

  • i tried to like it more than once but it didn't work :(

  • What a great song.

  • Saw these guys in San Diego a while ago..maybe 2006...Definitely surprised me..great live act

  • The two dislikes were some assholes wearing Tapout & Affliction clothing. They were using WIFI at the bar, but the UFC fight ended. So they left.

  • pure hip-hop<3

  • this song is fucking milk

  • incredible song, how can there be dislikes?

  • 2 dislikes?

  • @shaun0069 haters often come in two's :p

  • @HipHopAus The person or people who give it thumbs down must be deaf!I try to listen to Sandpeople atleast 10 times a day or more.

  • @HipHopAus

First they hate ya, then they need ya. ~ 3MG.

  • @HipHopAus but fans come in hundreds/thousands.

  • @HipHopAus three's now.... it's a damn shame

  • @accardo08 they just dont understand the song...so fuck them..hahaha

  • Whats the best way to find mp3iiiiify to download this mp3? Someone told me to google mp3iiiiify.

  • nice lovin sandpeeps

  • this song is sickkkk..their lyrics have so much meaning->if you want the lyrics to this song (i wrote them down) then hit me up. :D

  • love it

  • pls tell me some song like that... this feeling is..is..is amaziiiing:D i love it

  • who is

    redshield and bad neighbors?

i reccently discoverd sandpeople and i seen that bad neighbors is their old group or some shit like that?

    btw this song is dope...

  • Redshield was IAME, Simple and Mo-b from Sandpeople. Their album Paradise Lost is really good, it was released in 2004. I don't think they make music as Redshield anymore though.

Bad Neighbors was Simple and Mo-b on their first album, and it was Simple, Only One and Mo-b on their second. They're both Sandpeople subgroups like Debaser (Ethic and Sapient) and Clockwerk (IAME and Gold)

  • oh aight good looks

  • @uLy310

redshield and bad neighbors are subgroups of the sandpeople.

redshiled = iame, mo-b, and simple

bad neighbors = simple and mo-b or only one and mo-b. they got two albums!

    FIRE!!!!

  • you are missing one artist on your list

    Sweatshop Union

their new album water street is amazing

  • braille and cunninlynguists are extremly dope! and sandpeople!

  • yo HipHopAus wanna give me that list to? underground rap is new to me, this main stream is all i ever hear! need some new stuff bro!!

  • Haha i didn't actually write a 'list' per se, just sent some suggestions to the two people who asked. I don't listen to a huge amount of modern hip hop lately so don't have much to recommend but i'll just post some quick suggestions here in no order Grayskul Atmosphere Aceyalone Jehst Rhyme Asylum CunninLynguists Jay Electronica Sleep Braille The Coup
  • Also check solo/subgroup albums by Sandpeople members like Sapient, Debaser, IAME, OnlyOne/Illmaculate etc.

As far as older hip hop goes, my obvious suggestions would be shit like Wu-Tang Clan and Nas first albums, two of the best hip hop albums ever. Check Boot Camp Clik and DITC's discographies, they should keep you busy for a while.

Check Prince Paul's A Prince Among Thieves album, it's a bit underrated considering how good it is, highly recommended.

    Anyway, hope this helps, peace

  • Damn....SP always commands my respect! So dope.

  • inspiring.

  • hey HipHopAus any chance i could grab that list of artists too? im in need of some super chilled hiphop. cheers in advance, dmoteone!

  • tried to leave a comment on your channel the other day but it said 'error processing request' or something, i'll send you some suggestions soon, peace

  • underground is where it's sandpeople>entire mainstream

  • wow they're really good

  • Unfortunately Sandpeople will probably never make it big, but that's only because garbage emcees compose the mainstream. Only one, Sape and illmac are insane- Only is turning into one of the best in the biz period. Brother Ali is also a great artist to listen too while you're at it.

  • True... I'd also put Ethic and IAME right up there with the three members you mentioned, Ethic puts out less material but he's probably the most consistent member of Sandpeople in pretty much every aspect. The next Debaser album will be incredible.

  • no popstars make up the mainstream, very rarely an actual MC makes it upstream...this shit is dope. WE NEED TO BRING BACK HIP HOP, DESTROY THE WACK...popstars beware we're aimin at your domepiece.

  • ill hip hop still lives on

  • Crazy ill man, rowdy!!!

..i like how the piano comes down....Beautiful..

...also dope lyrics and flows too!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i was in to 50 and that kind of shit but now i only listen to the sandpeople

  • haha, there's plenty more good music out there, not just sandpeople, but it's good to see that im not the only fan.

  • all my mates listen to them and i dont care is the maddest song by them

  • dude im such a fucking fan i listen to all of em, sapient, simple, debaser, ALL OF EM

  • hey you have good taste in music.. if you have the time i was wondering if you could suggest other groups or rappers, please :D

  • thanks! i'll pm you a list of music to check soon, peace

  • @ILLjakjak might want to broaden it a bit...

at least you dropped 50... haha.

atmosphere, mac lethal, grieves, sage francis, cunning lynguists to name a few.

  • hahahah this is million times beter that 50 :p if you like this kinde of hip hop liten to snowgoons they are good to or la coka nostra

  • sandpeople tell em'. this shit is off the hook. Please keep hip-hop going. I feel sandpeople is going to go far. reach for the stars!!

  • You're right, it's growing. My friends got me and other people into underground Rap.

  • now this is it

  • If commercial hip hop's dead it died of boredom.

There will always be great hip hop music, the people who constantly complain that hip hop sucks nowadays just don't know where to look. And some of them just like complaining/hating out of jealousy and insecurity in their own ability (or lack thereof)

P.S. Sapient is releasing THREE FREE ALBUMS over the next three months. The first one (Make Morphine: The Remixes) drops today! Google it... Sape doing his bit to keep hip hop alive and well!

  • i cant believe they sold out to MTV

  • LOL are you being serious? So they're selling out because they want to make the most of any opportunity to have their music heard on a wider scale and get some recognition for all their effort? These guys are constantly working on their music (and working about 1000 times harder than the average 'super real' underground crew), and this is literally putting food on their families tables (hopefully) in some cases, it's not just something that they do in their spare time. Wake up to the world.

  • Good post... The more people that they can expose to their music the better. They arent dancing around in Spandex doing dance moves with other pop artists. I hope that the whole world knows about these guys. They deserve the exposure...

  • true dat...everyone should listen to hip hop!

  • so dope..the sandpeople are sick

  • now this is real hip hop keep doing your thing

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • dope dope dope 5 stars

  • fuckn dope

    sick beat

  • Why don't you hit up Sapient or someone else from the SP and actually buy their albums? Just a suggestion......

  • really now? support the artists if you love them

  • tlod: yo buy this album, don't steal it. these cats are true heads, and should be supported as a matter of respect. "hip hop isn't dead its just mal-nurished".

  • Dope beat mate.

  • i luv dis shit. u got good taste

  • tight

  • BARSHOTZ: Glad you dig it man, just letting you know that youtube marked your comment as spam for some reason automatically. I tried to fix it but it didnt seem to work. Just so you know it wasnt me. Glad you're feelin the track!

  • werd lol good looks been feelin these dudes for a while

  • this is the only album i dont have by them and i want it! i think its better than b-sides vol.2

  • yeh i think so..

  • Both B-sides albums are dope as. My fav tracks are definitely on vol. 1, but I think vol. 2 is about even in terms of overall consistency.

  • agreed... i actually liked the certain songs on bsides1 more, but bsides2 was better balanced and equaled the dopeness
