NASCAR died in 2001 the best driver that NASCAR will ever have no 1 can drive like dale Sr thay can try to be like him but there will only be 1 dale sr.
and if i recall jr himself said he only watched about 20 minutes of this movie when it first came out because he was dissappointed with how the whole thing was made.....i feel that the movie DALE with paul newman narrating (his last movie ever RIP) was a much better story than this
this was a good movie and i enjoyed watching it when it came out....but some of the parts i always wondered if they really happened...did sr actually tell jr to wear the hans device or was that just added to the movie?
Theres a couple things that they forgot, like his DEI race team, the death of Neil bonnet, micheal waltrips relationship with him, and how he was friends with DW, not enimies
I'm a Jeff Gordon nerd, and do you notice that Jeff is in his rainbow car in this? Actually he drove a car with a flaming paint scheme. I can't believe I noticed that.
@Herbrax1 Agreed 100%. Especially at the end of the video where Ralph picks up Dale and smiles. My dad was just like Ralph and even Dale. Racing was #1, and most of the time after he was off of work, he'd go right back out to the shop and work on his car. Most of the time he spent with me was only because he needed someone to hold the light. It wasn't the kind of attention a kid needs, but it was the only kind he knew. The beginning and end scenes really break me down because of the similarity.
I am in no way shape or form a dale earnhardt fan, hated him as a driver thought he couldnt drive, still do, but I can say that I watched this movie because I am a race fan, and to see what he went through and how hard he worked to get to where he was at that I found some respect for this man although I didnt think of him as much of a driver but just his determination to succeed is just amazing, very well put together movie!!!
@fordman2141 7 time national champion finely won the Daytona and he couldn't drive..Jesus Christ where did you pop up from? I seen a stupid comment of two in my day....heard some too...but if I were you to save face I'd remove it and maybe try cricket or polo. Dale Earnheart was fearless..that's why he was the best.
@islandguy911 look buddy I gave my opinion on the matter like youtube lets us do, oh no somebody doesnt like dale earnhardt let me go cry about it, calm down man I just didnt care for him, nothing was ever his fault and nascar let him do whatever he wanted, he completely cut the track at riverside to pass bodine, but that was ok because earnhardt did it, if bodine would have done it to dale im sure he wouldve had to come down pit road for a penalty, again its my opinion and im entitled to it.
@islandguy911 that's cool bud..we all have our own opinions and I respect that, maybe I should of said he might not of been the greatest driver or a good driver t you but he had something almost every race car driver would kill for, Gut's..he had to feed his family just like the rest or you and I...he done it his way and it worked very well...give him credit for that much please..because if you were to ask any Nascar driver alive they would tell you seeing Dale on there tail cost them to loose.
@islandguy911 when they should of won hands down.that alone is talent and why they nicked him the intimidater and that he was no matter where he was on the track he never gave up until it was over..who do you like best bud? I like Jr of course but I think Gordon is a great race car driver hell they all are that's why there out there and were not have a god day and enjoy the ride.life is short no need to waste it on being negative.I am guilty of being that way sometimes myself. don't sweat it :)
I wont lie, i only recently got into NASCAR about two weeks ago, and i've been learning more and more. I started to dig into the history of Dale Earnhardt, and when this movie popped up in the suggestions box, i had to watch it. I may have only just heard about Dale, but this movie was enough to make me cry, because i had already become emotionally attached to this amazing driver.
we have the greats like dale and football baseball and basketball stars want to get paid mor. Fuck them. racing may not be popular but they run the risk of dying. Thank you dale and for those who blame steerling your retarded sterling would not do that especially to his good friend
@cali115 Dude u said it I only get to watch this legend on youtube and play him in games! Im just 14. And the worst part is there will never be a better driver or any one like him so were shit out of luck i guse
i think the ending where they show dale earnhardt as a kid again hugging his dad ralph means that ralphs little boy has finally come home for good to race with his daddy on tracks paved with gold in heaven cry every time i see this movie ending what do u want from a 14yr old girl dale earnhardt is an insperation to me one of the greatest of all time and there will never be another dale earnhardt! you went to soon dale may u RIP with your dad and all your nascar friends LONG LIVE KING OF NASCAR!!
@Tigersfan829 trust me, Dale JR. still drives his best, 2 wins in 2008, finished second in the 2009 aarons 499, finished 2nd in the 2010 daytona 500, finished 4th in the 2010 coke zero 400, led some laps at the martinsville fall race, I think Dale JR. has the talent, he just does'nt have the car or the crew.
You know, I think they showed that final scene with his dad to show that he was finally with him together again in heaven. R.I.P Dale. Best damn driver in Nascar History.
I remember exactly where I was only 2 days in my life..Feb 18, 2001 and Sept 11, 2001. God rest his soul. Dale, I was only 10 at the time you passed, but you're still my favorite driver ever.
@seal0716 My point is it should have been, I think Dale's death deserves an accurate representation of what happened that day. But I understand that it was cheaper to get whatever racecars they could film with.
@TVCityVlogs He actually said, "You're gonna see something you ain't never seen on FOX" he was just referring to the fact that it was FOX's first ever NASCAR telecast. It is though quite an eerie foretelling of FOX getting more than they could have ever wanted.
@aquariex24 and still he predicted something way beyond his knowledge of knowing without even knowing this im not saying he knew he was going to crash just saying its very ironic
@malkin71fan He wasn't pronounced dead at the scene, but he was unresponsive when the safety workers went to him. Within 20 minutes of being at Hallifax Medical Center, he was pronounced dead.
@malkin71fan I don't know if anyone answered this for you. I really didn't want to take the time or wanting to wade through any nay sayers. Dale died on impact. Blunt force trama was the official cause. I believe it was whiplash. The violent sudden deaccelleration severed his brainstem. Maybe for about a minute or 2 he was still alive but nothing giving his heart a signal to beat. There are clues in the movie as to why he died in an accident that seemed to be one that a driver could walk away.
@malkin71fan I am hoping to add to my resopnse to your question. In the movie Richard Childress told Dale that he would build an unbreakable car. I believe Dales cars were too rigid. No what we call crumple zones in street cars. An example could be seen in the old 80s Winston modified cars where a driver could hit the wall, die in impact yet the car could be repaired within a couple hours to race again.
@frankthe1268 yes a lot of parts are inaccurate like dale and dw did be come friends and his dad died of a heart attack and like i said if someone beside espn made it it would be better
@immortalclaws Also most all the racing was done at Rockingham no matter where the subcaptions said it was. Another was Dales rookie year driving a 1972 Monte Carlo with late 70s and early 80s model cars on the track. Yet another was when Dale had a short stint in the no. 15 Bud Moore car. That was totally left out. In the 2001 Daytona 500 scene it showed a no. 43 getting clobbered durring the next to the last caution yet it was the same car without a scratch causing the last caution.
dale was looking for his fathers acceptence. wanted to prove to dad he can make it.at the beginnig he waits 4 dad at work dad in a hurry says we are late. fast forward to jr trying to race he is on him like his dad.later they bond at the lake scene.when ralph is at the gate he says nothing about being late just popens his hands and picks up dale.this is what dale wanted in life dads acceptence. we all strive for our parents acceptence.
also i was out of moms house at 18. she died in 07 of ms. i think you have another problem with me other than my miss quote.this is my final thinng on this.
immortaiclawas u dont know me, i am the biggest earnhardt fan i know. in my room is about 500 pieces of diecast some autographed. in all my other sites etc i am listed as godale with the exception of e bay and this place. oh thats right i am godale jr on gunbroker i forgot. have nrver had any problems up to now. i dont use the name troll i would just use ass . if you check youtube for my other posts there are some about dale. as far as the other stuff goes i have two grown kids.
@frankthe1268 ok im confussed was your comment refering to dales death or his dad and him and boy 500 pieces of memorablia that beats my number explain becuse i am very confussed
was refering to his father at the gate. the movie stars with his father at the gate. the ending is nice because at the end he had his fathers acceptence. the movie is about a father son acceptence thing and one of my favorites. it was meant in no other way
@frankthe1268 THAT'S exactly what I thought you were referring to....like Dale reunited with his father in heaven. I don't know why anyone else here thought any different...EVERYONE knows that's how the 2001 Daytona 500 ended....no reason to say "I hope that's what happened"....some folks aren't too bright, and need to calm down a little, I guess....
@amarritza you are a dumbass frankthe1268 is refering to when dale died you idoit you are such a dumbass for beleiving him you are the worst nascar fan ever and dont say rip 3 because you belived that idoit you fuckin retard you and frankthe1268 deserve to burn in hell
@amarritza haha thats funny saying i hate dale how do i know you hate dale and he is lying he is a dale hater the second i read that comment i knew he was lying and since you feel for his shit....well sorry i guess thats your problem you stupid cunt
@immortalclaws IF I was wrong...you could have just explained why, but the fact that you can't post anything that isn't an incoherent, expletive-filled, psychotic RANT is what made me wonder about YOU, dude.
Now when you reply...I'm warning you...
DON'T YOU DARE type anything coherent or intelligent...(you wouldn't want folks thinking you ever went to school or anything.)
Anyway, I'm done. Thanks for the laugh. (Your posts are entertaining, at least.)
@amarritza i did go to school captain retard and sorry for the language i didnt know you were offended by words you queer anyway sorry you fell for franks comment you idoit
@immortalclaws BTW...IF Frank is a troll...I hate to break this to you but...
YOU fell for him way harder than I did, son. Trolls are here to PISS people off...and he got your goat GOOD.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt...which, if he's a troll, is NOT the reaction he's looking for from Dale fans...it's a FAIL. If he's a troll, he's laughing at YOU right now, dude.
Don't feed the trolls, immortalclaws. Stay calm and make fun of them---but don't give them what they want.
@amarritza oh course hes a troll i just cant believe you fell for his shit and you say to make fun of him why didnt you say it before thats what i do best ok franks birth certifacte is an apology from the condom factory and was probaly born on a highway cuz thats were most accidents happen he is also good at math because he adds trouble subtarcts pleasure divides attention and multiplys ignorance....good enough for you??
@immortalclaws Glad you're not so pissed anymore. But don't get mad again when I say this: I still don't know for sure about him. When you say "I can't believe you fell for it"...I'm not dumb---but I didn't see anything wrong with his comment, if he was thinking the same thing I was. He then said what he meant, and you didn't believe him. When you went off on me, I thought maybe you had a history with this guy, so you knew what he was about. If you don't, then how do you know?
@immortalclaws That's all I'm saying. It's all I was ever saying. If the guy has other posts somewhere that make it clear he hates Dale and was laughing about his death....Hell, let me know! It's just that I COULD HAVE EASILY POSTED WHAT HE DID, and I would've meant Dale and his daddy in heaven together....but you wouldn't have believed me. (And you would have called me a cunt and told me to die and burn in hell, too, LOL) And nothing I would've said after would make a difference. You know?
@amarritza yeah i hear you but still i just hate trolls because i actually did something with my life and fat slobs like him just sit in his parents basement and rip other videos i bet hes never gotten laid (sorry im getting graphic here) he will probaly rot in hell where shit stains like him belong
@immortalclaws LOL I hate trolls too for exactly the reason you said....they have no life, and they want to piss off people who are happy and trying to enjoy something. I agree. I only jumped in and defended Frank because I thought he was being unfairly called a troll. I thought it was a misunderstanding. Like I said, I am not sure it still isn't. (Assuming you don't know him) I wish he'd come back on and explain more. Maybe he could even convince you. Maybe not. I don't know, lol.
@amarritza um wow 3 comments where do i beging well no i didnt see the video i really didnt notic it and i get it we didnt understand what we were saying to each other i get it you were just making him think you agreed with him and me like i said i hate people who rip on people who are dead the do it because their pussys and try to stick to one comment for me to read because 3 is pretty annoying...think about it
@immortalclaws Sorry I didn't mean to overwhelm you with 3 long posts...looks like Frank came back on and explained anyway, so I hope all is good now finally. The video I was talking about was in a message I left in your channel comment page. Now I can't find it, though(?) I'll post it again ON YOUR USER HOME PAGE, not here.
@amarritza ill find it eventually but thanks for realizing espn dosent know a fuckin about nascar and for that matter indy f1 grand am and yes nascar is not the only racing series i watch
@immortalclaws What he said could be taken more than one way. You saw it one way, and I saw something different. I get your reaction, based on what you thought he meant. But you should get my reaction, too, based on what I was thinking. (Doesn't mean either one of us is a "dumbass".) Even if you, or anyone, tells me for sure..."Yeah this guy is full of crap, and here's the proof..." IT STILL DOESN'T MAKE ME A DUMBASS, for assuming the best, and not the worst. Know what I mean?
@amarritza to prove to you i know and care about dale heres what happened on the last lap of the 2001 daytona 500 dale's car got loose for unknown reasons his car collided with ken schrader he hit the wall at about 160mph the crash killed him instantly which led nascar to much needed safety innovations and before you say i dont know anything about nascar ive been watching it since 1979 so if i were you SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@immortalclaws Um...no one asked you to "prove what you know about NASCAR"...I never said I doubted you....I only said, "Why should I not believe Frank, but believe you?" I don't know either one of you! I expected you to explain that you know him or something, and that's how you know he's lying, but instead you went off again. I like NASCAR and Dale, too...it's stupid that two Dale fans who liked this movie are "arguing" with each other over a "troll" but you really want to keep going don't you?
@frankthe1268 oh sure do you actually expect me to belive that you dumbass i hope you fuckin die ass hole i damn well know you where refering to dale dying you giant waste of space im not stupid i know your another virgin in your moms basement and have nothing better to do than rip videos i hope you fuckin die asshole
the movies great if you saw it but if someone beside espn made it would be kick ass because espn dosen't no the first thing about nascar and to frankthe1268 fuck you cock sucker go blow your fuckin dad or mom or what ever made such a fat waste of space like you this world be alot better without shit stains like you
Nascar has never been the same. This movie is awesome. A true father and son bonding show. I miss the Intimidator, he had a style and unique character. I couldnt let him down, so I am and always be and Earnhardt fan. Jr will will be a force to contend with, He's already got the right team. I will always have my 3 shrine, I do miss him.
Yeah. I think that Rusty and Dale fished together or something. They were good friends but not so much on the race track at times haha. I didn't want to admit this but because he wrecked Rusty and other so much I hated the man. After i heard he died I knew i just misunderstood him. I also know Nascar isnt the same without him. I try not to hate anybody in nascar now because I don't want to have any regrets when they die.
God how I miss my hero!

An example could be seen in the old 80s Winston modified cars where a driver could hit the wall, die in impact yet the car could be repaired within a couple hours to race again.

43 getting clobbered durring the next to the last caution yet it was the same car without a scratch causing the last caution.
crazytrain22911 1 year ago
dale was looking for his fathers acceptence. wanted to prove to dad he can make it.at the beginnig he waits 4 dad at work dad in a hurry says we are late. fast forward to jr trying to race he is on him like his dad.later they bond at the lake scene.when ralph is at the gate he says nothing about being late just popens his hands and picks up dale.this is what dale wanted in life dads acceptence. we all strive for our parents acceptence.

@frankthe1268 ok all you had to say was that and we wouldnt have been arguing sorry about that rip 3

was refering to his father at the gate. the movie stars with his father at the gate. the ending is nice because at the end he had his fathers acceptence. the movie is about a father son acceptence thing and one of my favorites. it was meant in no other way
frankthe1268 1 year ago
@frankthe1268 THAT'S exactly what I thought you were referring to....like Dale reunited with his father in heaven. I don't know why anyone else here thought any different...EVERYONE knows that's how the 2001 Daytona 500 ended....no reason to say "I hope that's what happened"....some folks aren't too bright, and need to calm down a little, I guess....
RIP, #3. You are missed.
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza you are a dumbass frankthe1268 is refering to when dale died you idoit you are such a dumbass for beleiving him you are the worst nascar fan ever and dont say rip 3 because you belived that idoit you fuckin retard you and frankthe1268 deserve to burn in hell

@immortalclaws Dude, why do you believe he's lying?

@immortalclaws And how do I know YOU'RE not the Dale hater? Because you say so?
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza haha thats funny saying i hate dale how do i know you hate dale and he is lying he is a dale hater the second i read that comment i knew he was lying and since you feel for his shit....well sorry i guess thats your problem you stupid cunt
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws IF I was wrong...you could have just explained why, but the fact that you can't post anything that isn't an incoherent, expletive-filled, psychotic RANT is what made me wonder about YOU, dude.
Now when you reply...I'm warning you...
DON'T YOU DARE type anything coherent or intelligent...(you wouldn't want folks thinking you ever went to school or anything.)
Anyway, I'm done. Thanks for the laugh. (Your posts are entertaining, at least.)
RIP Dale Sr.
He was the best.
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza i did go to school captain retard and sorry for the language i didnt know you were offended by words you queer anyway sorry you fell for franks comment you idoit
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws BTW...IF Frank is a troll...I hate to break this to you but...
YOU fell for him way harder than I did, son. Trolls are here to PISS people off...and he got your goat GOOD.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt...which, if he's a troll, is NOT the reaction he's looking for from Dale fans...it's a FAIL. If he's a troll, he's laughing at YOU right now, dude.
Don't feed the trolls, immortalclaws. Stay calm and make fun of them---but don't give them what they want.
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza oh course hes a troll i just cant believe you fell for his shit and you say to make fun of him why didnt you say it before thats what i do best ok franks birth certifacte is an apology from the condom factory and was probaly born on a highway cuz thats were most accidents happen he is also good at math because he adds trouble subtarcts pleasure divides attention and multiplys ignorance....good enough for you??
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws Glad you're not so pissed anymore. But don't get mad again when I say this: I still don't know for sure about him. When you say "I can't believe you fell for it"...I'm not dumb---but I didn't see anything wrong with his comment, if he was thinking the same thing I was. He then said what he meant, and you didn't believe him. When you went off on me, I thought maybe you had a history with this guy, so you knew what he was about. If you don't, then how do you know?
amarritza 1 year ago
@immortalclaws That's all I'm saying. It's all I was ever saying. If the guy has other posts somewhere that make it clear he hates Dale and was laughing about his death....Hell, let me know! It's just that I COULD HAVE EASILY POSTED WHAT HE DID, and I would've meant Dale and his daddy in heaven together....but you wouldn't have believed me. (And you would have called me a cunt and told me to die and burn in hell, too, LOL) And nothing I would've said after would make a difference. You know?
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza yeah i hear you but still i just hate trolls because i actually did something with my life and fat slobs like him just sit in his parents basement and rip other videos i bet hes never gotten laid (sorry im getting graphic here) he will probaly rot in hell where shit stains like him belong
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws LOL I hate trolls too for exactly the reason you said....they have no life, and they want to piss off people who are happy and trying to enjoy something. I agree. I only jumped in and defended Frank because I thought he was being unfairly called a troll. I thought it was a misunderstanding. Like I said, I am not sure it still isn't. (Assuming you don't know him) I wish he'd come back on and explain more. Maybe he could even convince you. Maybe not. I don't know, lol.
amarritza 1 year ago
@immortalclaws Did you watch the video I sent you?
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza um wow 3 comments where do i beging well no i didnt see the video i really didnt notic it and i get it we didnt understand what we were saying to each other i get it you were just making him think you agreed with him and me like i said i hate people who rip on people who are dead the do it because their pussys and try to stick to one comment for me to read because 3 is pretty annoying...think about it
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws Sorry I didn't mean to overwhelm you with 3 long posts...looks like Frank came back on and explained anyway, so I hope all is good now finally. The video I was talking about was in a message I left in your channel comment page. Now I can't find it, though(?) I'll post it again ON YOUR USER HOME PAGE, not here.
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza ill find it eventually but thanks for realizing espn dosent know a fuckin about nascar and for that matter indy f1 grand am and yes nascar is not the only racing series i watch
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws check your private inbox. And you will LOL at that video...
amarritza 1 year ago
@immortalclaws What he said could be taken more than one way. You saw it one way, and I saw something different. I get your reaction, based on what you thought he meant. But you should get my reaction, too, based on what I was thinking. (Doesn't mean either one of us is a "dumbass".) Even if you, or anyone, tells me for sure..."Yeah this guy is full of crap, and here's the proof..." IT STILL DOESN'T MAKE ME A DUMBASS, for assuming the best, and not the worst. Know what I mean?
amarritza 1 year ago
@amarritza to prove to you i know and care about dale heres what happened on the last lap of the 2001 daytona 500 dale's car got loose for unknown reasons his car collided with ken schrader he hit the wall at about 160mph the crash killed him instantly which led nascar to much needed safety innovations and before you say i dont know anything about nascar ive been watching it since 1979 so if i were you SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
immortalclaws 1 year ago
@immortalclaws Um...no one asked you to "prove what you know about NASCAR"...I never said I doubted you....I only said, "Why should I not believe Frank, but believe you?" I don't know either one of you! I expected you to explain that you know him or something, and that's how you know he's lying, but instead you went off again. I like NASCAR and Dale, too...it's stupid that two Dale fans who liked this movie are "arguing" with each other over a "troll" but you really want to keep going don't you?
amarritza 1 year ago
@frankthe1268 oh sure do you actually expect me to belive that you dumbass i hope you fuckin die ass hole i damn well know you where refering to dale dying you giant waste of space im not stupid i know your another virgin in your moms basement and have nothing better to do than rip videos i hope you fuckin die asshole

Nascar has never been the same. This movie is awesome. A true father and son bonding show. I miss the Intimidator, he had a style and unique character. I couldnt let him down, so I am and always be and Earnhardt fan. Jr will will be a force to contend with, He's already got the right team. I will always have my 3 shrine, I do miss him.

godgirlsguitars 2 years ago 2
did you know Rusty was Dale's friend
ohiostmarine29203 2 years ago 18
