well yeah it's cool but i think if you pay a bit more you can surely get a better guitar. but i have to tell you that haven't been too convinced about american standard strats either :))

@SamuellMatthews that's probably because you haven't played on a Deluxe Fender Tele/Strat/Star... etc. Or if you have, then probably your hearing sense is not quite sharp

@NikoGot The american stuff is better I'd agree, but I'd say the improvement in sound quality was disproportionate to the increase in price - I mean your talking 3 - 4 times more - if your a session musician or in a signed band, then it's understandable, but for amateurs, bedroom musicians, or in small time bands like myself I just don't think that it's cost effective... unless you have the money to spare that is...
