Actually, I have been playing drums for a year or two and find I have much more flow and ease with a real kit, the Rock Band kit I find harder because it tires me out easier, especially with the bass pedal, which is way tighter than a real one.

I loved this song but was pissed at how hard it was on the higher difficulties since I couldn't hit consecutive bass and alternating pad/bass notes very well at all. Though practice helped a lot and now I can pass it on expert. The song rocks even more now.

Hardly. I just passed it on expert last night having never done it before, the kicks are actually really easy to pull off. hardest I would have to say would be Run to the Hills. Still can't beat it, even on hard.

I just got Rock Band last week and I'm going through expert. If you can play a real kit, you can play the songs on expert in the game.

I've been playing this song on my drums since the album came out and I was very anxious to see how it felt to play it on RB. Its pretty damn close!

Some songs are a little weird, but Maps is definitely one of the best re-creations in the game.

Again, if you can play a real kit, you can play RB on expert. Not visaV

I have been a drummer for the last 5 or 6 years, have a drumkit, and do not replace drumming with this game. They are two completely seperate, FUN things to do...

Regardless of that, buying a drumkit is rediculously expensive... and just because you play the game a lot, does NOT imply that you are wasting your time and should buy a real kit...

i think the argument that most people make with whether its harder or not is in rockband u have to go the speed the thing is set at whereas with real drums you set the speed yourself. obviously rockband lacks certain necessary items to even make an attempt to compete with real drums.. just some people have trouble adjusting
