A band that never got the recognition they so richly deserved. I bought their first album when it originally came out and think it is just as fresh today as it was then. The harmonies and guitar playing were rich and unpretentious.
Great tune, pick up the two albums they recorded as Marvin Welch and Farrar (also the name of the 1st album) and Second opinion. Should be able to pick them up as a double CD. Well worth a listen and a nice addition to the collection.
A great song from the nucleus of the Shadows. Fantastic harmonies. A band that never reached their true potential which is sad when you have one of the best ever guitarists in their line-up. He's not a bad lead vocalist either.
can't get enough of these guys ( Hank & Bruce), have been favs since apache. However John certainly helped give them a lift with his vocal arrangements
this is a great song.great lyrics and singing.hank and bruce look a little bit different now to what they look in this vidoe but still the great talented and gifted men that they are.

Why would you want to live constantly copying someone else's look? Nothing worse than a cut-rate john lennon. Welch, I'm talking to you.

@PreRaff What are you talking about? - looks nothing like him - Lennon loved Cliff and the Shads anyway

Love Marvin Welch and Farrar - incredibly overlooked vocal group which is long overdue public appraisal...
