grazie mille! according to the "insight" function here on youtube, almost 90% of those viewing my videos are 50-64 year old guys ... can't TELL you what a pleasure it is to hear from you and roz (oscilis) every now and then.
I don't remember seeing a charango before I saw your video with the Robert Frost poem/song last night. It looks like a ukelele that tried to swallow a guitar!
bravo bill 5 stelle ;)

Reminds me of celtic music in some places. Beautifully played.

thanks roz - according to the locals, we're all celts.

Beautifully performed! Makes me want to order some nylguts for my charango... and start playing it again!

Such a cool sounding instrumnet and extremely well played!! Amazing, the tune is from the 1300's??
tenorbanjoguy 3 years ago
'at's a spicy tune, Signore. Is that your arrangement of a 14th century tune or was it a 14th century charango tune? It has a nice groove to it.
oldwhtman 3 years ago
gratz' ... the arrangement - as such - is mine. "groove" is not a word used much in early music circles but i appreciate the compliment - gratz' (II)

Well Bill, I don't know many masters of the charango other than you. What a unique instrument. Great stuff

:-)))))) Nooo! A ukulele looks like a charango which was too slow when trying to cross the road ;-)
Nice picking and strumming Bill! You're getting better all the time.

grazie markus! ... why did the ukulele - braghina - rajao - machette - canary island timple - etc., etc. ... - cross the road (ocean)?
... for a nice slice of pineapple!
billkilpatrick 3 years ago
yeah... pineapple ukes are proving this theory!

Hee hee! And thanks for catching my misspelling of ukUlele! I noticed it after I had posted. Too bad they don't let us edit posts. ;^)
Largo64 3 years ago
...I didn't even notice this!
BTW: Cliff Edwards was known as "UkElele Ike" ;-) Right, this was his artist's name, look up for example "Cliff_Edwards" on Wikipedia.
Sorry Bill, for hijacking your comment's list ;-)
