  • She is !NOT! Lip synicing!!! Do You have ANY proof she is? NO one does!!!!!! Luv You Dolly!

  • I love Dolly with all my heart,. And those who criticize her for lipsyncing obviously don't understand that her entire job is SINGING. Do you know how hard that is on a person's voice? She used to lose her voice singing naturally so much in the 70s, that she had to cancel her first tv show because she couldn't sing anymore. Yeah she lipsyncs on the newer songs when she's on tour or on tv (like those from Backwoods Barbie) but she sings all the classics live.

  • @MIKETOMEK If she lip synch ot is because her voice is sick at the time. i ahve seen her live n she stops in the middle of her song n don't miss a beat. She take while the musicaim are holding down their own n u do not hear her voice so u know it is real

  • I LOVE YOU !!!

  • i was not lip singing and i was going to give all my fans free tickets for dollywood

  • that was alot of words

  • My IDOL!!!!! I have been a fan of Dolly's since I was about 12. I'm 23 now.

  • "Count the warts on a toad in the road"

That makes me laugh a bit but I love this song just the same.

  • I am a professional sound tech...in her great big shows where she just can't keep up with the grueling schedule...her band and backup singers are actually playing and singing live..there is a click track in their ear monitors to keep them on beat..and most of Dolly's vocals are on a hard drive...I just hope one day before I die or she does I can see her again completely live...warts and all...tremble in her voice and everything...THAT my friend is the Dolly that a true fan LOVES..

  • I am a big Dolly Parton fan, so please don't bash my opinion :)

I think she was lip-syncing because in her live concerts she usually has some kind of difference in her voice than the song does on the CD. I have the CD and this sounds EXACTLY like it. But I may be wrong.

  • Halos & Horns

  • A little lady, big talent, bondless energy and a light that shines brighter than any

  • I was there upfront! It did NOT look like she was lip-syncing live!

However, I agree with You it look like it here and I think she did lip-sync. Here in Sweden it was was almost required to lip-sync on television shows a few years ago. I guess it was a technical thing.

NOTE; This is an encoded video from VHS. It is not unusual that the sound will come a microsecond before or after. I assure You. I does not look bad on my VHS or DVD.

Dolly is a star! She even lip-syncs like one!

  • @hacsJscah Dolly dont lipsyncing here! If she do ,she have to lipsyncing the interview as well because its the same there..........

I love you for post all this Dolly Video :-)))))))

  • Dolly sings wonderful live! She uses tracks when she doesn't have her band and of course having the large screen you notice more when she messes up. Almost all performers use tracks and lip sync when they are on television shows. But Dolly is a great performer and sometimes does mess up even when she's live, like everyone else. And this song is not one that was released as a single and she does not perform often.

  • i think dolly knew she messed up she was defiantley lip synching bless her

  • *cries* You can almost tell this is an exact recording of the CD, with not a flaw. She is lip synching! STOP DOLLY! We love you naturally!!!!!

  • Is it not possible. .that she just sings really good live?

  • No, she sings like Dolly live...which has it's own character, flaws, and everything else that makes us true Dolly fans love her so much. She thinks she has to impress everyone by doing huge stage shows that wear her out so bad she can't physically keep up...I'd love to see her in a small setting with just her, and couple of guitar players and her live, sweet voice.

  • I totally agree with you, when I saw her live 6 months ago she had her big band and sure, that was fab, but i'd prefer a more intimate concert, where she really can connect with the audience. After all that is how she grew up, singing to her family, small crowds and it was just her, her voice and her guitar.

  • I'm glad somebody agrees with me...I usually get bashed for my opinion...I am a true blue Dolly fan all my life...I just miss my real live Dolly (To quote her first live concert record title! lol)

  • i totally agree with you too.

  • OMG! I am moving to Sweden!

  • haha I live here , saw her 6 motnhs ago (actually exactly 6 motnhs ago today) but i don't think she's coming here more, I'd like to live in TN, next to Dollywood haha
