You should not eat maca powder/flour raw. In Peru they only eat cooked. Otherwisw u will have digestion problems. If I get it it will be as gelation to add to my smoothies.
@jjayo2001 The "cooked maca" story is a marketing myth. It is difficult to find cooked maca in Peru. In the Peruvian markets you find: raw maca (like in the video), dried maca, and raw maca powder. At the Cusco juice bars, they only have raw maca powder.
could anyone tell me there opinion , on blending , not only maca powder, but other powders, i have heard it said that blending destroys the nutritional value because of oxygen. i blend lots of powders and fruits so am a bit confused. even though i feel like im benefiting and feeling great. anyone know the true facts please?

Thanks David. Notice any improved effects from the relatively fresh root vs. dried powder? In the next scene did you just drop all ten of those into your smoothie? :-) And also curious what that bag sells for in the Cusco marketplace (in $). My guess: less than $10.
Great to see you posting on youtube again! Fascinating about the maca, it looks like a small turnip or rutabaga. I wonder if the medicinal benefits are the same if we grow our own with a good dose of rock dust?

they eat this stuff like potatoes In Peru. Beneficial, but a little but overhyped and underdosed.

Cool video David, how do they make it into powder without destroying the enzymes? Can i grow this at home?

I like to blend maca with an apple or pear and sprinkle almond meal and gojis on top. I eat this almost every day.

I am interested in the green pendant you are wearing. Is it some kind of EMF device? Green Jade?
