Jon Stewart doesn't necessarily support Ron Paul. In fact he disagrees with a lot of Ron's views, which there is nothing wrong with. However, it is clear that he stuck up for him in that one episode of The Daily Show. Jon Stewart is more of a Progressive/Liberal than anything, which there is nothing wrong with and doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to support Ron Paul, but if you watch a lot of his other videos, it seems to me clear that he doesn't really support Ron.
