k5/k6 mate. Suzuki have never bettered this bike yet. i've read so many write ups in magazines about that model and that it has the most torque of all gixxers. I've just bought a k6 1000 for my first bike and it's f*ckin' awesome!!!!!!!!

i first got my knee down on my rs125, all the videos show me hanging off the bike, but when you feel comfortable with the sound of the plastic on the floor, it gets easier to lean the bike over without hanging off the bike, i can even get it down on my bandit600, thats been raised 50mm and yokes dropped 12mm, handles like a crate!! xD

The media is correct. The K5 - K6 years for all class GSXR's have been the BEST to date. Keep practicing man, trust me there is alot there for you to learn, take it slow and wear your gear.

Thanks man:) Well i've clocked up 3000 miles in last 2 months and i'm starting feel comfortable on it. I can tell though on the twisties it could easily bite me in the ass if i get it wrong:) Like you said, good advice take it easy and enjoy the bike, everything will come with practice. ride safe:)

very easily.. even in a tight 1st or 2nd gear'er corner, throttle position and steadiness plays a huge role. you have to be ready for it to slide a lil'.
