Awesome dance song...back in the day at the clubs I was messed up and asked the D.J, in the middle of another song to play this now, as in right now with a $100. Never failed-just had to hear it right then and there!
unemployed at the moment. trying to get my meds through pateient programs so I won't have to pay. My bipolar med alone is $900 a month. Living near Baltimore now. I'm going through my CDs in alphabetical orer, and a riend has certain types of music on certain days of the week on facebook. So Wednesday is hard music day, so I put up Headhunter. Hope all is well with you.
wildenfree i'm sure you know mlore front 242 songs then you know hahah have a look around , i went to concert last summer and there where songs where i went like oh shit its also front 242
Absolutely fantastic.! I love this song. I am SO glad I saw this, because I'm gonna show it to everyone I know who called them neo-nazis. They are so NOT!
The music is aggressive neo-techno, but there is NO HATE in it at all. Read, "The Most Dangerous Game" and work it out. It is sort of an extrapolation. For anyone who is still an illterate ignorant presumptuous jerk, Front 242 is most cool, and YOU need to learn to love others instead of hate out of your own fear or insecurity.
You are absoluteluy correct, and I clearly misspoke. "Neo" was NOT the appropriate prefix. I apologize to all who might had read it as though F242 were copying others; they were not, and were in fact at the forefront of electronic music at that time. In fact, by the 90's theire own sound had morphed into a more generalized techno sound, and became all but indistinguishable from that of their peers, but it's worth noting they got there sooner. All apologies for the error.
What a tragic trog. My point is that F242 was doing this music well before techno even existed. It is therefore a precursor. Perhaps, I should have chosen proto-techno as a reference terminology. I merely meant that the sound we now consider "electronica" (though I hate that term), was evolving well before anybody had labelled it as such. But nevermind...
November 28, 2005 at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. The audio and two back-ups were corrupted by a mic change during the show - I had to send someone to the Atlanta show to collect audio - so the video is from DC and the audio is from Atlanta
Yes - it is timeless. For that reason I tried to give it a majestic beginning and ending, along with a stunning climax (Jean Luc's image mirrored and then reversed on itself) befitting a classic.

That's just not correct ! One of the first detroit techno tracks "Cybotron-Alleys of your mind" 1981.

@verapamil07
You are totally correct! "Alley's of Your Mind" is definitely the first Detroit Techno record.
