I am certainly not referring to the classical Indian form of hatha, but rather to the essence or the 'intention' of the practice which is to bring together the streams of movement, breath and Yi - mind. Not all that is breathing and moving is qigong. And whether bagua is meditation is determined by the Yi of the practitioner.
@NagaBukko No. There is no Yoga in Bagua. What you think of as yoga is a type of Qigong. Qigong is any breathing and moving meditation. Bagua is more like daoist meditation plus open hand martial arts. But yeah, you're right on with the whole "Beautiful and masterful!" part.
